The actors were all outstanding and brought the portrayal of each of the serial killers to life, as well as serving great drinks to the audience. The actors were engaging and the show was excellent! I highly recommend this event!

Grabbed some burgers at the historic Hanover Tavern. Food was great, especially the fries! The tavern burgers pimento cheese was a good addition too. All the servers were great. Also extra points for having a changing table in the men’s bathroom, very appreciated!

We had a great time. Drinks were delicious and well crafted for the occasion. Staff was on point with their story telling. Can’t wait to attend again.

My partner and I were recently had a Halloween wedding here, and I cannot recommend Hanover Tavern enough. Having an all-inclusive venue was so extremely helpful and took off a lot of stress when planning. The location is beautiful, especially if you’re planning a Fall wedding. We rented the Coach House for our wedding, and had our ceremony in the courtyard. The Coach House has a nice rustic warm charm while still feeling modern. The history and theater of the venue is so cool and unique. They also recently installed a nice patio with a firepit and other heating elements. So our guests could mingle there comfortably in the chilly fall evening. Price was extremely fair, and there are many different options to fit your budget. We also felt extremely welcome as gay couple. The food is fantastic!!! All our guests were raving about the food. They have a wide range of options available. And the chef is extremely accommodating, we had a seasonal dessert and requested it again for our wedding. They knocked it out of the park. But the staff is really what makes Hanover Tavern special. Krissy, the day of coordinator, was so helpful, down to earth, and fun to work with! My family and wedding party loved her. and we always looked forward to our planning meetings. She was also extremely flexible, and helped make accommodations for our themed wedding. She was also very conscious of my Grandmother, who is getting quite up there in age, but still wanted to take part of all the fun! Krissy assisted her and really made her experience special. The event staff are extremely attentive and friendly, and its nice seeing the same group of people throughout the day. They maneuvered our guests around expertly, and even helped transition some of our decorations from outside to the reception without us even asking. They always have your wedding experience in mind, and will go above and beyond to make it special. Even when we had a costume piece break, without a second of hesitation, the staff whisked it away and gave it back to me fixed. I was incredibly touched. Shout out to Don the bartender, he was also excellent and brought an awesome energy to the event that my guests loved. I would recommend Hanover Tavern again and again. They really made our wedding something special 🙂

Hanover Tavern is well worth the small detour off of 95. My wife and I had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Tammy our waitress was attentive and made our first experience here an outstanding one. My wife said her fried chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly. The fries came out cool, but Tammy was quick to bring a new batch of hot fries. I enjoyed the Cuban sandwich and the broccoli salad. Make sure you ask for mustard! We also enjoyed the pimento cheese,
Hanover tomatoes served with crostinis. You do need to have reservations, which you can reserve online. Be sure to check their web site for other events including theatre.

I have eaten at the Tavern several times. Every time, the food is delicious and the service is excellent. Tonight I had the Tavern Burger. Oh my! It was just so good! And so big! I loved the fried green tomato and pimento cheese spread on top. Don’t sleep on the fried brussel sprouts! And be sure to request a side of balsamic vinegar. Chef’s kiss

We hosted my son’s rehearsal dinner at the Taylor Pub Room at the Hanover Tavern and it was absolutely amazing. The event staff were very accommodating and helped make this a wonderful part of the wedding weekend. The attention to detail was great!!
I would definitely use this venue again for a special occasion celebration!!

A delicious meal before a hilarious play production of Moriarty. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, the atmosphere was so peaceful (we went in December), and the food was FANTASTIC. Pretty sure I ordered the best thing: Hearthside Pasta. My sister went with the Crab Cake Sliders (amazing!!) and the table also shared 2 addictive appetizers: the Fried Green Tomatoes & the Tavern Style Fried Brussel Sprouts. The others at the table enjoyed a Brisket Melt, Hanover Cuban Sandwich, and Pork Chops. It was a great experience for a Thursday night. I will definitely be back. Especially to enjoy a play afterwards.

Overall, not good food.
The brussel sprouts were burnt beyond eating as well as too salty to eat. Which was a shame because they cost extra as a side.
The tap water tastes very odd.
The pimento cheese spread on their specialty burger was not good.
One side order of fruit never arrived, and the chicken bbq sandwich was cold in the middle, extremely dry, and tastes like it was leftover chicken reused as a sandwich.
Sadly, the best looking items were on the brunch menu, and only available on the weekend.

If you do decide to go, order the spiced apple side. It was the best thing on the menu by far. Delicious.

I loved the atmosphere and historical information provided.

We didn’t go to any of the extra museum sections other than visiting the upstairs of the restaurant section.

The waitress was amazing and the front desk greeter was great.

Based on the food we had, I wouldn’t recommend it for eating and won’t go back for food.

Went to see a matinee show, had lunch before. The Tavern burger is a must, wish the hand cut fries had been hotter. Had the warm brownie ala mode…with peanut butter… The peanut butter should have been a hot sauce, but was very good overall. Server was lovely. There was a very nice looking Hispanic gentleman working the bar , for those of you that like some eye candy.

It was my first time seeing a show here… really nice production, though unfortunately I’d seen another production of Deathtrap so I knew the twist…still a fun time. The one big drawback was the sizing of the seating in the theater for those folks of ample proportions or hight. The box office was amazing when dealing with a ticket issue, and was able to move us for more leg room.
