I have been a customer of Friendly’s since I was 12. Patronizing this store for 23 years. I am 52. I have never received Reeses ice cream sundays so skimpy. When I called to complain I got into a screaming match with the supposed manager whose name I will not share publicly. Everyone is entitled to a bad day. Everyone deserves grace. The young lady that made the ice cream, I adore her from previous times there. Again, everyone is entitled to a bad day! But the response from the manager was totally unacceptable. She asked me “Do you want a refund?” “NO I don’t want a refund. I want my ice cream!” I took the loss and ate what was given to me. I was willing to go back for the sundaes to be remade but clearly this manager was lacking in customer service. Extremely disappointed! Photos are the “supposed” 3 large Reeses cup sundaes and one 2 scoop ice cream to compare. All purchased at the same time.
Edited: October 18, 2022- I did contact Friendlies as the “Friendly’s owner” suggested….and NOTHING!!!! I hope the manager woman was fired.

Decent food , very good ice cream, service is hit or miss. Appetizers after 8pm are half price. They also deliver locally. Breakfast is our favorite…quick, hearty and well priced. Kathleen is our absolute favorite and does a great job of making us feel welcomed and valued. She really goes above and beyond to deliver a flawless experience. At times the staff is distracted with personal conversations and not very attentive which is disappointing because they could really make a difference in delivering a great experience. The restaurant is nostalgic ! It’s also newly renovated and very nice . It’s clean and the booths are cozy and comfortable. Friendly’s has that throw back feel and is a cute addition to the community. I would recommend to any looking for casual or family friendly dining at reasonable prices.

Taste of saltiness and close to cold food… Each month that passes by with this location, there’s more and more young workers, and less people that come in to eat. I called in for a pickup order at 6:53 pm, got there at 7:15, didn’t get my food til 7:30 pm. I originally asked for mini mozzarella sticks, but ended up with the three piece instead. The person on the phone failed to tell me in advance of what they did and didn’t have in stock. Why does it take close to 40 mins for such a basic order, especially with a slow night. When I got to Friendly’s, there’s maybe 5 people working all chatting to themselves, still working, but it takes a while to “greet” me. There were 5 tables open with a good 10 or so people in the restaurant. Once I got to see my food and ready to eat, the food isn’t hot, barely warm, there’s barely ice cream, barely any gummy bears, they didn’t even fill the small cup. And for some reason the food taste extremely salty. I wasn’t even able to finish it. Everyone here is more focused on socializing with themselves, rather than giving people the food that they paid for.

Wasn’t thrilled about the menu changes but the food was good. I haven’t been to this location since before Covid and it seems much cleaner and more inviting. It was a little more crowded than I expected but we were seated quickly and got our food in a timely manner. Our waiter Ola was so patient with the kids and so nice and didn’t get aggravated when I kept asking about the new menu. The manager (Kayla) came over to check on us and was so sweet. I normally don’t come to Friendlys often but even my husband commented it was such a nice experience.

I had dinner at Friendly’s in Baldwin. The food was great. Chloe was our server, and she was wonderful. She was attentive, and made our dining experience very pleasant. I haven’t been to Friendly’s in years, and I received better food, and better service from Friendly’s restaurant, then I would receive from a lot of other restaurants.

I normally like coming to this Friendly’s, but the place needs to be cleaned/high chairs are dirty. It’s under staffed, more workers are needed. The young waitress Chloe who served us was sweet & did the best she could under the circumstances.

A little pricey since I was there a few years ago. No senior discount because now they give you a free sundae if you order from their Happy Ending menu (which we didn’t)..not such a Happy Ending for us, however the food was great; so five stars.

Family friendly place serving good, sit down fast food. Some of us ordered food, others ice cream. I was one who had ice cream and I have to say it was delicious! The wait staff was so patient and accommodating. Ot was a very pleasant, fun time.
