brought my wife here for valentines day. the staff members were all dressed up in red and pink outfits. there were roses and lights everywhere. we had a wonderful time, it’s one of our favorite places to go.

We were seated promptly as always and I guess we should have asked for Miguel’s area. Our server tonight was not the greatest. He had 4 tables my the end of our time there and we went early. He was basically non-existent and we had to wait for everything. We got there at 4:45 and our food arrived close to 6 because it took forever to order. I’ll go back, only if we can sit in Miguel’s area. Poor service but great food.

Our friends from Florida loved it and it didn’t disappoint once again. Miguel is our favorite server.
Update 8/2025
Back again. We’ve visited several times and each time we were not disappointed. We had our Mother’s Day here, met family and friends here and have had our date night here on several occasions… Miquel, our waiter, was very attentive. Be sure to ask for him. I found my favorite dish and the last 3 times, I’ve asked for the same dish, “Toluca Burrito”. You must try. The size of the burrito is huge, so I always make an extra meal out of it. Their cocktails are delicious as well. On my next visit, I plan to get to know the staff better.

In the beginning of this year, we have visited several times. I would have given them 4 to 5 stars before this visit. We arrived and were immediately seated and our server presented himself. We placed our drink order which took a bit too long. After receiving our drinks, we placed our order for our meals and started on our dip and chips. My husband order 3 fish tacos and I ordered the Chorizo Pollo with chicken tenders for our grands to share. We did inform our server they would share the meal.
Our server didn’t offer a second plate or come back until we were ready to leave. My meal was delicious which satisfied my palate. I will order again. Unfortunately my husband’s meal was not what we expected. The fish tacos were not edible because the fish seemed spoiled. My husband will eat almost anything and for him not you eat, is a big statement.
Update 2023
We wanted to give them another try and it was surprisingly better this time around.
My husband ordered the La Poblano with grilled chicken served on a bed Poblano peppers, mushrooms and onions. The peppers were cooked well and the flavor was great to the palate. I ordered the La Mejor which considered of chalupa texana and chicken quesadilla covered in cheese sauce. Large portions and very tasty.
I was more excited about the new server they have on hand. Actually I was fascinated and thought how my grandchildren would love them. Too know they make robo vacuum cleaners well now there are robo servers. Right out of the Jetsons cartoons. That alone will have me coming back

After being on a Keto diet this would be my cheat meal Oh boy I do love Mexican food Once we were seated we had to wait a few minutes then the server came by and asked if we wanted menus. Yes please. We ordered and we never saw her again until time to pay. We had to ask someone else for water. Their margaritas were good and strong. The cheese dip was blah. Melted cheese with no spice. The salsa was perfect. I ordered the Mocajete and my husband ordered beef fajitas. What I received wasn’t what I expected at all. The Mocajete had diced pineapple on top which made the sauce sweet. I was able to remove most of the pineapple but it didn’t change the flavor. In addition, it had two large slices of cheese that never melted. Not a fan. The side dish of rice was clump

It was absolutely delicious, the view was just about you you’d expect plus the music in the background, the customer service was absolutely respectful and perfect. I’d give a 10/10 if I could, best place I’ve ate such as Mexican restaurants goes definitely!

Javier served us unhurriedly, as though my husband and I were the only guests in the restaurant! It was our first time to dine here, and on his recommendations, we ordered a pitcher of their homemade sangria and queso, chips, and salsa to start. The sangria was delicately balanced and delightful – – some of the best, if not the best I’ve tasted, perfect for a hot summer’s day. For our main courses, we ordered the Quesabirrias and Pollo el Porton, which were both nothing short of exquisite. The whole experience was so understated but wonderful. While the restaurant has the vibe of a family-owned, cozy Mexican restaurant (perfect for family dinners out, full of yummy comfort food ootions), the refinement of the palate for each of our choices was for me extraordinary. And to add just a little more playfulness and charm to the experience, a Pudo Bellabot Kitty Robot served us our main course! Arrive well BEFORE 10 PM!! Went to a game at Joe T. Robinson HS and stopped by for a bite about 9:48 PM. We were rushed to order. As soon as the food came, the server asked if we could go ahead and pay. We were told the restaurant was open until 11 PM but he needed to close his tickets by 1030 when the restaurant part closed. This was @ 10:14 PM. We will not be back.

This is my new favorite place for Mexican food in Little Rock! Omg best kept secret is the surf n turf dip. It comes with three warm tortillas and a big bowl of white queso with hunks of steak, chicken and shrimp ❤️ it is a meal in itself! The Porton dip is great too and I definitely recommend the tortilla soup. Great service, fun atmosphere and awesome bartender. The menu is exciting and offers such delicious combinations and creations you won’t find anywhere else for the amazing price.

Veggies were excessive on my son’s chicken plate, veggies were light on my enchiladas and my wife’s quesadilla. Kids chicken was over cooked a little and some adult shredded chicken was underseparated. Salsa was great spicy. Server seemed a little distracted but decent.
