Victoria was phenomenal and checked on me with with the perfect frequency. The “chips and salsa” which is fried wanton wrappers with sweet chili sauce is uniquely delicious. The volcano roll was perfect in flavor and consistency, and the steak hibachi had great flavor. Initially I was concerned when I walked in and heard country music playing but Asahi is clearly comfortable in their identity as a restaurant and they rocked it. I will 100% be returning when I’m in town for business. 10/10

Delicious food and great service. We love coming here when we come in from out of town. However, last night -we went around 8:30. Everything from the parking lot was completely dark-it looked as if they were closed. The only thing that let us know it was open was the “open” sign in the window. Everything else was completely dark from the outside…we went in and sat down at a booth. We noticed the walls were dirty next to our table-and there are a lot of cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Not sure if they notice these things when cleaning -but it definitely needs to be looked at closely and a more thorough job needs to be done. I love this place and the food-and will continue to go when we come in from Texas, but cleaning needs to be better.

Asahi never disappoints. We enjoy the environment, the food and the service. The bento lunch is my favorite bc it satisfies my craving for sushi as well as steak. My bf enjoys the “pick any 2 teryaki” option. With tip included, it came to $50.01 for 2. Pic of bento below.

Sushi is great! We order takeout here every other weekend or so and it’s always fresh and tasty. The spicy cowboy roll is by far the best specialty roll. My husband loves the “love boat for 2”. Yes they are busy when you dine in, and sometimes there’s a wait. But it’s worth the wait!!!

Ordered chicken and vegetables tempura, Philadelphia roll, California roll, and the boil option A that comes with shrimp, snowcrab legs, sausage, potatoes, corn, and we chose the garlic butter for our sauce/seasoning.

Service was okay but looked like they were understaffed. Cost was on point, not overly expensive.
Food was OUSTANDING!! The house seasoned steam pot was finger licking good! I mean it! Large portions too.
Sushi rolls etc were large portion, fresh, and OUTSTANDING!
Sorry I didnt drink this time but will update as I plan to return for sure!!!

The food was quite good i love that hibachi and we came there several times by the same waitress. Casta she really so kind know what we need and understood all our requests . She is best waitress in asahi , my daughter really liked her.

The service was ok. The food not good. The steak and shrimp hibachi was so tough it couldn’t be chewed. The rice was under cooked. The yum yum sauce taste like straight onions. Restaurant was clean and fun atmosphere. Servers were good when they actually came to the table

Yummy! We went for lunch and the food was out in about 10 minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The 3 rolls were very flavorful that you didn’t need soy sauce.
