It’s good southern style food. I must say the hamburger and fries I had were very good.Its a hangout for locals and unpretentious. pricing typical.Service good.Decor interesting and comfortable.Food quality good.Plenty of parking but beware of potholes.

The food here is delicious flavor, authentic BBQ, we are on our honeymoon and staying in ana Marie Island. Over priced with very little flavor restaurants. Drive over the bridge and enjoy good quality food. Fried pickles are the best we ever had. Bucket of bones with fried mac n cheese melts in your mouth. Waitress Susie is very attentive and good personality.

We stopped again tonight on our way home from the beach. I’m always impressed with the brisket, so tender and delicious!!!! My wife got the 3 taco appetizer, brisket, pulled pork, shredded chicken!!!

Sorry but I find it hard to believe that there are now two of these restaurants. The food is fatty, taste of brisket is boring and the greens and grits need help to. They do have courteous servers and a but the reviews I read must have been written by the same person. A no for me !

2019-11 Rebranded O’Shucks eatery. Tight parking. Friendly Cortez atmosphere in and out. OK bar and restroom. Same menu as Manatee Ave place….but this one has Smelt and fried frogs legs. Note both have smoked mullet. Pulled pork consistently excellent. Good prices and service. Go.

Highly disappointed. I thought I finally found some good bbq in Sarasota/Bradenton, nope another swing and a miss. I’m not giving up im still looking for that delicious smoked bbq in this area. The smell drew me in but the taste left a lot to be desired.
