Disgusting and unprofessional. Never again.
My family and I have been going to this IHOP every Sunday — we’re regulars, and the staff knows us well. Today, while waiting for our food, I found a human nail (fingernail or toenail) floating in my Mountain Dew. I have photos to prove it. That is absolutely revolting and completely unacceptable.
When I said out loud, “Is that a toenail in my drink?” one of the employees sitting in the nearby break area actually laughed out loud and looked straight at us. Later, when my father-in-law informed the waitress about the nail, she was visibly trying not to laugh, then walked to the back where I could hear them joking and laughing about it. When she returned, she still had a smile on her face like the whole thing was funny.
The manager came out and offered to comp my meal only. Not the table, not a real apology — just mine. Like that fixes finding someone’s nail in my drink? No thanks.
To make matters worse, they tried to serve my less-than-two-year-old daughter a rotten grape. If they’re willing to serve visibly spoiled fruit to a toddler, who knows how much other rotten food they’re passing off as “fresh.”
And the service was just as bad. My father-in-law, who’s had a heart attack and needs his food made a certain way, was rudely cut off by our waitress when he tried to order his usual water with lemon — she said, “I already knew.”
We’ve supported this place week after week, but this was the last straw. The food is unsafe, the staff is unprofessional, and the management clearly doesn’t care. I’ll never set foot in this IHOP again, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else risk it either.

McKenzie was so attentive and friendly. We were from out of town and wanted to stop by for a quick bite to eat. Food was fast and service was amazing! The hospitality was so warm and inviting. We will be back again when we come back to town.

We had a bad experience at first. We was seated and not taken care of. And then we was moved to the back area away from everyone. But I will say that one server came and took care of us and turned a terrible experience into a very enjoyable one. Her name was Mckenzie. From what I can see she is by far the best server you have. I would recommend her to any customer that walked in your door.

Waiters flirting and yelling through the kitchen
It was weird to see a pizza delivery guy bring pizza in through the front. That was the only time I saw the waitress carry food or do anything food related. We came in to 3 tables full of dirty dishes and they stayed that way for 15 min while the staff yelled and stood guard at the kitchen door. Weird times here tonight.
The waiter did tell us a couple just dined and dash. Welp that made just us in the restaurant
Food was not typical ihop but ok it you like tough to cut pancakes and over done bacon and eggs.

Ordered a buttermilk biscuit and gravy combo, the gravy was still partially frozen. Im assuming. It was cold and had icy bits in it. This is after having to remind Vi we needed silverware once we got our food. We were probably one of the first tables, but with it being as slow as it was, would expect better care taken with the food. My daughter’s food was good, and my eggs-though easy instead of medium-were good. Hashbrowns weren’t crispy as requested either. They offered a discount on my meal. 10%. Im 55, I likely could have gotten that anyway.
I love breakfast. I did not love this breakfast. Probably be a while before we try again when so many other good breakfast places are available.

I have been to this specific IHOP many times because it is well run and the staff are friendly. Today my server was Mckenzie; she was friendly and did a good job, and has done well the times in the past where she was also my server. I will be returning to this IHOP in the future.
