Dined and ordered from here several times within the past few months. Service is good, most of the times. Can be slow food service sometimes. Food is typical McDonald’s. Staff is generally courteous and friendly. Restaurant is kept clean. Ample parking available, if needed.

I am writing to formally report a very disappointing experience at the McDonald’s location in Carle Place.

Upon entering the restaurant, I stood at the counter waiting to place an order. Several employees made eye contact with me, yet no one acknowledged me or offered assistance. After being left waiting, I proceeded to use the self-service kiosk.

When selecting “dine-in,” the kiosk required entry of a table “number tent.” As is standard procedure at many locations, these number tents are typically placed next to the kiosk so customers can take one, enter the number, sit down, and have their food delivered to their table.

However, there were no number tents available anywhere in the restaurant.

I had to call an employee over to ask how to proceed. I was informed that this location “does not use number tents,” despite the kiosk system clearly requiring a number to complete the dine-in order. When I asked how I was supposed to continue, I was told to simply place the order and pick it up at the counter. The employee then walked away without offering further clarification or assistance.

This reflects a clear operational inconsistency and a lack of basic customer service. If number tents are not used at this location, the kiosk system should be properly configured to reflect that. Customers should not be left confused, unsupported, and effectively ignored.

The overall experience felt dismissive and poorly managed. As a result, I chose to leave without placing an order.

I hope this issue is reviewed and addressed to prevent similar experiences for other customers.

Went here one time. They messed up my ice cream. It was squeezed on the side of the cone and it was too soft. That’s honestly just a skill issue at this point. The guy didn’t want to switch it when I asked. He said, oh I can give a spoon if you want…dissatisfied. I don’t think I will be coming back for long. The nuggets were so burnt. That happens most of the time I come here. Hope they fix this service.

They just don’t listen. I ordered two sandwiches. Very simple with cheese. They charged me for completely different items. When I went to pick up my food there was only one sandwich in there with no cheese. When I told them I only have one sandwich that he then charged me for another sandwich. When I finally realized my sandwiches didn’t have cheese, I went inside, the sandwiches are now freezing cold. I asked if they could just remake it with some hot cheese. They said “I could just put some cheese on this now.” Not even wearing gloves while holding my sandwich so I said just throw it out and refund me please. Not coming here anymore. Most incompetent McDonald’s I’ve ever been to in my life.

I’m going to let you in on a little secret. McDonald’s is successful, because no matter where you go, McDonald’s is McDonald’s. McDonald’s. So this McDonald’s is basically like every other McDonald’s that you know, and that’s the reason for their success.
You just have to be aware that some places they use mustard on their burgers. But not up here in the Northeast.
To summarize; McDonald’s is McDonald’s, has been McDonald’s, and will be McDonald’s until the end of McDonald’s.

I have a soft spot for McDonald’s. Call it a burger or not, they have a distinct taste that’s hard to ignore and I love it.

This branch is clean, friendly and fast. Best thing is the 24hr drive thru, when you really get that craving.

Gotta mention these nice seats they have in this particular McDonald’s. Perfect for a little coffee break, better seats than some popular coffee shops.

Horrible staff that pulls race card when you tell them how horrible they are at their jobs. I asked for my receipt so I could submit a survey describing how horrible the staff was and my experience was and when I went to place the survey the system showed it was completed already. The manager herself called me a racist because I told her that they need to put people who can actually hear and understand the orders and don’t rush the customer’s order over the drive thru speaker. I plan on taking this to a corporate level. The Spanish manager Sidel was racist towards me and tried to play victim and make it look like I was the racist. Not today sweetheart. I will be calling every agency in Nassau County that deals with this restaurant and demand audits be completed. I will also be calling ICE just to be sure all the employees at this location are truly American citizens. As for this manager, I will climb the ladder at McDonald’s corporate office until she is fired. That is completely unprofessional for any employee to treat a customer, nonetheless by a manager!

Worst service ever. Waited inside at the register for 15 minutes because they were doing drive thru only. And pick up orders. What happened to walking in and getting good service. Horrible.
