The steak I had last Saturday was out of this WORLD good. It was cooked a perfect medium rare and the sides, although a la carte, are delicious! This place stays covered up because of how great the food and atmosphere are. I also wanted to note I think it is cool how hands on the owner is with her establishment. She definitely cares about the customers and their needs and it shows. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The building is very nice and clean, a quaint porch on the front with a very impressive entrance. There is ample seating, very clean inside with pleasant and helpful staff.
The BBQ meat had a good texture but not a lot of taste. The sauce was brought out in a cold, not room temperature squeeze bottle, it was tangy but I didn’t use much because I like my food hot. The Mac and cheese was very thin and didn’t have much cheese taste. The baked beans were good and the best part of my meal.
The chicken fried steak was cooked perfectly but the gravy wasn’t very flavorful and very thick, like it had been sitting awhile. Would recommend the okra and turnip greens.
They do have an extensive menu and we will be eating here again.
***I’ve heard the steaks are excellent but expensive, that will be my next update.

Clean and nicely decorated. Food was good and service was good but the prices were a little high because you can’t just choose a meat and 2 sides-it’s all priced individually and the sides are pretty small.
I highly recommend the grilled pork chop! It is NOT small and is delicious.

This is a great little place to eat that is out of the way. A great little kept secret! Try the fried pickles, they are heavenly! I picked here to go for my birthday and they didn’t disappoint either! The rest of the food was delicious. My husband got a hamburger steak and he was very happy with his choice. Swing by today and pick up something for yourself!!

We were traveling from Texas to visit family and ate dinner. Let me start with the inside, this place is sooooo cute and comforting. I love that you can order chicken tenders one at a time and sides one at a time. I truly love this place and will be back. Excellent food
