This place was fantastic—from the homemade pasta to the warm, inviting atmosphere. It was my first time here, and I would definitely recommend it. Not only is the interior beautiful, but our waiter was also extremely professional and knowledgeable. Since the pasta is made fresh, it does take a bit of time to arrive, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. I’ve also never seen mouthwash provided in the restroom before, which was a unique and thoughtful touch.

Silver spoon is our go to for Italian for any special occasion. The food is amazing and consistent. We always sit at the bar, the bartender Caylin is always so friendly and crafts amazing cocktails.

We showed up expecting and good pasta and left feeling my Nonna made it herself. The gnocchi my wife and I split where potato clouds made to perfection. I got the lamb chops and they were so tender, seared perfectly. Wife got the chicken, loved that it was still steaming hot and juicy.
Dim lights, cozy vibes, upscale Italian charm. Loved that the music wasn’t to loud but enough to drown out other people.
Service was overall okay but lacked some enthusiasm.
Silver Spoon quietly delivers excellence. We left full, a little poorer, and a lot happier. Prices were to be expected, the wine always wrecks the bill.

Incredible experience. I can’t believe people would go to a “chain” restaurant when this is available. The food is always amazing, the views are priceless. The service is fantastic. Best coffee (illy) ever!

Silver Spoon Ristorante is hands-down one of the best dining experiences you can have — truly the best of the best. The pasta is out of this world — homemade, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Every dish feels like it was crafted with care and tradition.
The cheese wheel pasta is a must-try — rich, creamy, and unforgettable. And don’t sleep on the potato leek soup — it’s velvety, comforting, and absolutely delicious. Every bite here feels like a little taste of Italy.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service always makes you feel like family. Silver Spoon is the kind of place you’ll crave again and again — it’s that special.
An absolute gem!

If it wasn’t for the dessert and coffee drink it would be – stars. We had empty bread plates, others got bread baskets, we did not. The appetizer “scampi” came with tasteless red sauce and the calamari textured like rubber bands. The salad “gorgonzola” was yellow and soft, yuck. The tableside pasta carbonara had hard noodles and was cold. The table was not bussed unless we asked. The dirty table picture attached here I counted the server walk by 14 times, and others servers/bussers 5 before we had to ask again to clear the table. I also heard a server yelling at the, who I think was, owner about the poor quality of food. The only saving grace was the dessert and coffee drinks. Yikes, I would rather have spent several hundred at Olive Garden. A definite off night or this place has just plain garbage food. PS it was not busy at all, so no excuse for lack of labor.

Went for a birthday dinner. Had a 7:00 PM reservation and was right on time. Got seated in a table near the bar and sat for 15 minutes with no one coming over to see us and no drink menus. Lots of staff walked by and not one asked if we had been taken care of. Asked the hostess if someone could come bring us water and menus and she said she would “try to find someone”. Ten minutes later and still nobody so we left.

We enjoyed a delightful evening at the Silver Spoon, agreeing with other reviews that it stands out as the finest authentic Italian restaurant in Metro Detroit. Celebrating our wedding anniversary, the owner, an exceptional host, enriched our experience by sharing insights about Italy, Puglia, and recommending a delightful primitivo wine. Our dinner included the m Carpaccio Di Manzo as an appetizer, followed by Orecchiette Al Ragù D’agnello (lamb ragú), Fettuccine Al Salmone Affumicato, Fettuccine Al Ragù Di Coniglio (rabbit ragú), and Fettuccine Al Ragù Di Salsiccia E Porri (sausage and leeks). Each pasta dish exceeded expectations, with the lamb and salmon particularly outstanding. To conclude the evening, the owner joined us, sharing laughs and surprising us with a delightful tiramisu and ice cream adorned with a candle. Highly recommend!

I would like to say our first time here today and it was exceptional! Our waiter Jessi was very attentive and knowledgeable about food and wine. He did a great job. To the chef, we are delighted to have tasted so many different dishes full of FLAVORS. Thank you to everyone. We will definitely be back for more.

Great improvement over the former tenant of this space. Excellent food, atmosphere and for the sheer number of large parties due to the holidays, the service was not bad.
Visited again in July. Elevated outdoor seating overlooking Paint Creek is a plus. Live band on Thursday night. Still a great choice.
