Absolutely LOVE this little place. So good to have found it and to be nearby while staying in the area. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable and so friendly. It is such a welcoming experience to be able to eat all the same things as my family (as a celiac) and to feel safe doing so AND to have the food actually taste good! We ate there 2 times in 3 days.

Excellent place to enjoy breakfast/brunch in downtown Monterey. We appreciated the selection of vegan/vegetarian options offered by the establishment. The tofu scramble complimented with homemade bread and roasted potatoes were excellent! The cinnamon toast was slightly on the sweeter side for us but good nonetheless.

Their pancakes are the best I tasted in town. The prices are all reasonable because the ingredients are organic. If the Wild Plum burger can be more flavorful, then it will be even better. Very filling and homemade flavor buns.

Great restaurant, I went on a Monday morning around lunch time and they were busy but still so kind and attentive. I ordered the chicken chipotle salad and I was a little afraid that it would be spicy but it was so delicious, the salad was fresh and flavorful. I also ordered a chamomile tea and it was really good quality chamomile. Will definitely come again.

Great atmosphere. Super cute breakfast spot. Latte was INCREDIBLE! The pastries we took home after breakfast were also amazing. Service left a little to be desired but didn’t impact the experience at all.

The eggs in the sun tried tomatoes steamer were so fluffy. Loved the combination of goat cheese with the sun dried tomatoes. Country potatoes on both dishes were crispy yet soft.I personally like a salty potato so I had to add salt, but appreciate that not everyone does so think it’s a good move to let people control that.
Pancakes had a great flavor and the roasted apples added a nice touch.
Initially thought $6 was a lot for a latte, but when it showed up in a large bowl I pleasantly surprised and glad we only ordered one. It was smooth a creamy.
Would definitely visits again, great flavors and textures!

I get the idea people normally have a better experience here than we did, so maybe it was just a fluke. I ordered a dish that came with bacon, so when the server asked if I wanted meat I said just bacon, and they charged me to add extra bacon… Also husband ordered no dairy/cheese on his sandwich which they honored but then they put cheese on his side salad… The atmosphere was cute. My food was yummy. Mixed feelings about this place I guess and not a great experience while on vacation in the area.

We had a great breakfast experience at this cafe. Professional, friendly staff. They brought ice for the kids’ tea, which was great, even though we didn’t ask for it. The place is comfortable, fresh flowers on every table, clean and atmospheric. It was the most delicious latte we’ve had in America, the presentation is very original. Affordable prices – $10-20 per person.

Their avocado toast is excellent! Mine was served with soft boiled eggs and escarole salad. Service was kind and prompt. Outdoor seating was comfortable.
