Anna Is an amazing bartender. Super attentive on point.
I’m not a regular but the regular customers they were super inviting. Had great conversations. Although I didn’t eat I was offered some enormous onion rings ( some beautiful enormous onion rings) oh I wish I had been hungry.
Everyone there raved about the food and I actually ran into someone else that I knew who was kind of a foodie.
I can’t wait to go back and see Anna her lovely customers and eat some of that food

Showed up on a Friday (1/16/26) at 5:30 for a fish fry. Sat down with my party (total of 6) and soon after our drinks were ordered. It did take quite a while to get our food ordered but not a big deal. We ordered our food and it took maybe 40minutes to get our food but not all of us. We waited and waited and one of us spoke to our waitress about our missing dinner (we had to go find her as she never came back to the table to check in). Needless to say, the guest who didn’t get his food was pissed. After that whole mess (after he was told they will put in another order) most of us were done eating and a teenage girl with fake eyelashes came to our table to ask if we need any “to-go” boxes and I said yeah and the guy with no food said why would he need a box when he never got his food and at that time I started to ask her a question and she cut me off mid sentence and left. Very disrespectful. While all of this was going on that same, Young employee went to converse with one of her friends who was also a customer at the restaurant. While we were told that they are understaffed and it being very busy on a Friday night, this girl had time to mingle with her friend and her friend’s mom. Well customers are waiting for to go boxes which she never brought us. I later got her attention while she was walking by and said hey we never got our boxes and she turned her back and shrugged her shoulders and walked away then shortly after proceeded to talk to her friend who was a customer to talk about me. I know this as a fact, because her friend, who was also a customer at the time was looking at me while The young employee had her back towards me and talking to her friend. Again, very disrespectful and rude. Finally, it’s the third waitress that came to our table got us our food and made everything right by apologizing and stating facts such as the kitchen being understaffed and the girl being newer and young And apologized for her actions. I unfortunately can see why this restaurant has some bad reviews. I don’t post ever about poor experiences at restaurants because I understand what goes on, but I have never been publicly disrespected like that in front of the public or in front of my family. This review should be taken seriously and that no point am I embellishing or making up any stories. The food was decent. The environment was just fine. But the service was extremely poor. I’m sorry my time was wasted on this and I hope the necessary corrections can be made whether through new employees or better training. Also… Sorry for any misspelling or grammatical errors. This is even too long overview for me to edit. I hope you all get the idea what I’m trying to say.

First and last time I’ll ever be here! Was not happy at all. Sat down and ordered a “smashed burger” for the special of the day. Anybody that knows anything about food knows smashed burgers are freshly prepared burgers not frozen patties in disguise with melted cheese. Atmosphere was off and i read the room very well. Racism is not ok anywhere in the world. Certain customers and employees brought that energy as soon as me and my brother walked in the door. The stares, whispers and side conversations was enough for me I will never be back.

I’ve been here many times in the past but this is the worst. Completely unacceptable.
I was with a group of 5 people for a Christmas gathering and were seated in the dining area. When we first arrived we ordered drinks at the bar. After being seated , we asked several times for a server to take our order. After waiting well over one hour of waiting still not one of many ladies/servers never came to help us. I tried to get a few of the young servers attention but it’s like they were trying to ignore us. We went to the bar and ordered more drinks and asked to place an order at the bar and the lady tender with “blue”hair (maybe Lauralie or Anna) was very snippy and said I had to wait for a server. We waited another 30 plus minutes for this same lady to finally take our order. She wasn’t friendly at all. I will tell others about my experience.

Solid fish fry. Friendly waitress. Quick service. I went with the combination fish fry, 2 Italian breaded and 2 beer battered fried cod. Both styles were great. Solid wings, big and juicy. Good buffalo sauce. Very friendly bartender/owner.

While waiting to pick up our truck at Gordie Boucher, my husband and I stopped in here for lunch. The U-shaped bar was pretty full by noon, but we found two seats near the video gambling. My husband got the chicken tenders, and I ordered the chicken ranch wrap in a spinach wrap. Unfortunately, they were out of spinach, so the bartender ordered me the plain because she advised that the tomato was not very flavorful. The wrap was delicious and nicely sized, albeit a little salty. My side of sweet potato fries were very good. No ketchup needed. This spot is on a road mainly comprised of housing, so pay attention, or you might miss it. You won’t want to either, as it’s a great spot full of friendly patrons and nice lunch choices.

BUGS IN MY FOOD!!! I used to love this place and would come here faithfully but the past two encounters were far from pleasant. From rude staff and now finding a BUG in my food?? I’ll never be back here again! And when I called they said they didn’t have any management available and couldn’t refund me my money and I have picture proof of what happened!! If google would let me add pictures to my reviews I would’ve posted it a million times!! I got the chicken Cesar wrap and when I bit into it I saw something and as I started to pick it out I pulled out something black with wings. DISGUSTING DISGUSTING DISGUSTING!!!!!

Food is way above average bar fare, you can tell they make this a priority.
We had Wings, Haystack Onion Rings and Chicken Tenders. They were all first rate. The Onion Rings were crispy without being greasy like you so often find. The Tenders were juicy and crispy, a tough combo, with good flavor.
They have daily specials ranging from Fish to Wings to Prime Rib.
I will definitely go back.

Wasn’t very happy here! The service was slow and the bartender took forever for us to pay our bill. She was more concerned of what was on her phone then looking at customers that want to check out. I ordered my meal with the homemade chips and they were overabundance of seasoning that was unattractive in Gross to me to want to eat! It would be nice if you would ask the customer about seasoning whether they want it or not and how little or how much. This was a big turn off! Also, the table outside that we sat at was falling apart and hard to eat on. You should check on your equipment all times for safety reasons and otherwise! I will not be returning!!

Heard great reviews from friends about Friday Fish at Sportz Pub, and spot on! The bartendress was friendly and helpful in securing us a table and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Both the fried fish and baked fish served with drawn butter, were fresh and tasty. We would definitely go back again!
