Very very delicious! Family Greek salad, Chicken “duck” Tenders, and The Works pizza were fantastic. I’m not a big pizza person, but it was so good , I ate beyond my capacity.

Stopped in to check out Duck pizza for a quick lunch. A margarita pizza is typically our go-to and we were not disappointed. The crust was ‘different’ and we could not place exactly how it differed from typical pizzas. I will say-it was NOT bad at all! It was flaky and crispy! Very thin pizza and excellent customer service. As someone who has had pizza in many different places (states and countries), I wouldn’t say Duck pizza is an all time favorite, however, it is a solid option and we would return. They offered a lunch special and had both create your own options as well as tradition pizzas on their menu.

As someone from just outside New Haven, CT—the (albeit, self-proclaimed) pizza capital—I don’t say this lightly: Duck Pizza is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. I am gluten-free and am constantly disappointed by the pizza options I try, but Duck Pizza knocked it out of the park. Their GF crust was not only delicious fresh out of the oven, but somehow just as good cold the next day (the true test!).
The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating—going out of their way to get to know us and welcome us to Duck.
I was visiting for a week and ended up eating Duck Pizza three times—that alone should tell you how good it is. If you’re gluten-free and missing out on really good pizza, or even if you’re not, this place is 100% worth it.
P.S. Have some extra time? Duck Pizza is located in a great little center with some awesome local shops. I loved being able to place my order and stroll around while I waited—it turned grabbing a meal into a whole experience.

We just arrived in Duck and needed some grub. Called Duck Pizza and ordered 3 XL Pizzas and some wings. It was delivered hot and flavorful. It did take time but we knew it would since it was a Sunday and many others arrived in town too. We loved it. Good pizza and wings. We would order from here again.

Well bless its heart—this little coastal pizza joint ain’t tryin’ to impress nobody with fancy frills. She’s got a good ol’ black-and-white checkered floor that’s seen more flip-flops than a beach boardwalk, basic tables and chairs that wobble just enough to keep you humble, and décor so sparse it practically whistles when the door opens. The walls don’t tell stories, but the air sure does—salty, warm, and heavy with the promise of hot pizza and cold drinks. It’s the kind of place where the ambiance is “sit down, hush up, and eat,” and honestly, that’s all she needs. Cheers!

There are only a few tables, so we always order take out (or delivery sometimes). The restaurant is located at back of Scarborough Shops, so it may be a little hard to find. They specialize in thin crust and our kids always get X-Large pepperoni. We get their Flavor Savior – white pizza with jalapenos, bacon and pineapple. Delicious!

I ordered 10 XL pizzas from Duck Pizza for my wedding in Nags Head this past weekend. Alyssa was worried the pizzas would not be hot enough by the time they arrived and wanted to serve us the best pizza they could. I assured her it was fine and I just wanted to have yummy pizza and support a small business!
We were blown away – the pizzas arrived hot and they were a HUGE hit at the wedding. The white pizzas were devoured immediately and we had a cheese and meatlovers leftover (which I was not upset about because we ate it for several days after and it reheated so well). We are big thin crust fans and this pizza met all our expectations. Highly recommend working with Duck Pizza! Can’t wait to visit in person when we’re in OBX next.
