Traveling from Atlanta we stopped at Jacks Family Restaurant in Wetumpka Alabama and ate lunch there on Saturday 12/21/25. We ordered the family fried chicken meal. The chicken was absolutely the best fried chicken we had ever eaten. They cook the chicken in small batches so it’s so fresh every time you order it. The pieces were big and very juicy and flavorful. The biscuits were perfect and the coleslaw was cold and delicious. The staff was very nice and welcoming even the gentleman frying the chicken said welcome to us. The eating area of the restaurant was pristine clean. The restrooms were spotless clean. You just don’t get this type of service anywhere anymore like my family and I received here. I could give them 20 stare if it was possible. Thank you Jacks Family Restaurant Wetumpka Alabama.

Stopped here at the location in Wetumpka Al and it was good. I’ve only been to Jacks a handful of times and each times I’m please with my order. The fries are always juicy and hot. It’s sitting in a nice location as well .. I’ll definitely be back in the near future

I wanted to say that I came to jacks on the 22nd around 3-4pm & the lady working in the front was the sweetest & most patient woman I’ve ever seen for fast food. Everyone is so sweet & everything is explained so well. There was a man that was curious about some items on the menu & she was not rude at all, she was very understanding & nice. The food is always great when I come as well!

Food was excellent. Very good service. My wife and I dined in, grabbing a quick lunch at about 1:00pm on a Tuesday. My wife’s fried chicken and my hamburger were very good. Rather quiet, pkeasant atmosphere.

The service was fairly quick and friendly. Prices were reasonable. Free drink refills. The place has a homey feel with a fireplace. It was busy but we didn’t have to wait long. The meal was filling. They topped off out soft drinks before we left. A few little things that could have been tweaked: a couple of drink orders took a second time to get right. The sliced tomato on my burger hard and not ripe. Otherwise it was a filling experience.

The BLTC toast was burned on one piece of toast. Made the BLTC all taste burnt. The burnt piece was hard and I couldn’t eat it, They also didn’t put the cheese on it! I said last time it was just like this I wouldn’t go back.

Very disappointed in my order today. We chose Jack’s over Popeyes cuz I remembered the chicken strips I had last time we’re big and hot, fresh, and delicious. We have been to Jack’s several times before and it’s always been great with food and service. I don’t know if today was just an off day or what, but it was horrible today with the exception of the fries. Me and my son both got the chicken tender snack which is three chicken tenders with an order of fries and the sauce. Two of my chicken tenders looked like one chicken tender broke in half, and did not seem to be fresh, like it always had been before. My son’s chicken tenders were also small and kind of scrawny, and the honey mustard they gave us looks like botulism warmed over. Honestly I cannot believe they gave us a sauce that looked the way that it does. I should have gone to Wendy’s, which is where we went to get my daughter’s food. I showed the girl at the drive-thru of Wendy’s the honey mustard sauce that Jack’s gave me and asked her if she would eat it, which of course she said no. And she was gracious enough to give me a honey mustard so that I can eat my chicken from Jack’s. Not sure if I will be back, and if I do go back it will probably be a while. Learn from my mistake and just go to Wendy’s.

I ordered my family meal at 4:59 pm. It is now 6:31. That is more than enough time to get or have it ready. I can understand a few minutes but almost 33 minutes late and then I am sitting by the rocking chairs. Still waiting.
