I have been ordering from Jason’s for a long time and as a long time customer I would like to share that, especially in comparison to competitors, Jason’s is an amazing place. I have done dine-in, pick up and delivery and the food and service is typically very consistent, you can tell that the food is fresh and that it is made to order, I have not had problems with communication and it is always very good. The few times I have done dine-in I have enjoyed my experience and the view and the hospitality, you get to walk in and choose your seat and there is always someone to help you. I really enjoy ordering pick up as it is quick and easy, you just send a message asking for what you want and when you want it ready for and it is extremely simple and helpful. I have not always had the best experience with delivery but it has never been a major problem, it can take a little longer but it logically makes sense for it to take a bit longer so there is not much to complain about.
I personally prefer their sushi over everything else but all of their food is well made, anything that I didn’t like was always only based on personal preference. They have so many options to choose from so every now and then I try something new and I have not been extremely disappointed by anything.
I highly recommend their Salmon Platter No.10 for sharing between a few and their Salmon Platter No.6 for one to two people, it is well priced for the amount and the quality.
My family and I also enjoy their chicken chow mein and the beef fried rice, it is a very nice large portion to share. The chow mein has a lot of vegetables which we really enjoy and their beef fried rice is a very good balance of beef and rice.
We have only had the dumplings a few times and I will admit that eating it while dinning in while they are extremely fresh has been the best experience but it is still very good from delivery as well.
I enjoy their sweet and sour pork, it can sometimes be visibly different, it is typically light in colour and sometimes comes a bit darker in colour but I cannot complain about the flavour.
In terms of pricing I believe that it is reasonably priced even after their price increase as it is quality food so I personally do not mind paying, the only time I found something to be expensive is ordering drinks while dinning in which can be expected from any dine-in place. It can start to add up as you add things to your order but I have never felt as if I have been overcharged or that it is unreasonable.
I am intentionally not voting all 5 stars because I believe that any and all businesses have room to improve.

I ordered via Uber Eats today. I’ve had very good meals from Jason’s sushi before, but the last 2 times now, the food is horrible. It looks and tastes OLD. My prawn tempuras today were almost a chocolate brown instead of light golden. Spring rolls tasted like it was lying in old oil and the sushi was even tasting old. Good thing it was on special, because half the food ended in the bin. Really sad because I used to love this restaurant.

I’m fussy when it comes to my Sushi and Chinese. But I loved the prawn tempura and salmon roses.
The sweet and sour chicken balls, were not a favourite, only because I didn’t like the dough and the sweet and sour sauce is also not to my own personal liking.
All and all. The Cairns roll excellent with the dragon roll.
We will be back for more.

This is my favourite Sushi Restaurant in cape town especially because I don’t really do raw food, and that’s why I love them so much is because of their crab and prawn sushi option s it tastes amazing. They have the best buffet price in Cape Town! The only bad thing is they don’t have a lot of waiters so if you go on special days(valentines or the like) or busy days the service can be quite slow.

I ordered through Mr Delivery , the Wasabi was all over the botom , which concluded to me not being able to eat it, as I do not eat Wasabi, secondly there was a HARD piece of something I don’t even know what inside one of the crunch rolls. Complete waste of money, very disappointed.
