Food chefs choice steak sandwich was good and the feddichini alfredo with chicken also good as well. My wife liked the cold pasta i thought that the olives ratio was a tad bit much for my liking. We tried the calimari and both felt that there was a bit to much breading, seemed like it came straight out the freezsr it had quite a bit of a chew to it. All in all the experience was okay i would have loved to see a pizza menu on since the only pizza stops on 35th is cholies and luganos which in my opinion lack in that department. I did see a pazone on the kids menu wanted to get but i have no kids…will give this place another try being that when i went it was a soft opening. We spent about 50 doallars total but the food is fresh and super hot made to order!

Absolutely charming restaurant. New, clean, cozy, family friendly and the staff is super sweet. Ruth is just a doll, Chef Claudio did a great job with my meal. Even the bathrooms are gorgeous and they have real baby friendly changing stations. Fresh homemade pastas and breads. Definitely a must for everyone !

The food here is excellent. I frequent the restaurant weekly and typically get the special. Their food is always reasonably priced and amazing, and the portion sizes are huge. You wont leave hungry. Recently I had a steak sandwich that was out of this world. I highly recommend trying this neighborhood spot. You wont be regret it. The food and service are second to none. In fact, I enjoy their food so much that I recently asked them to cater food to my customer’s office for a luncheon. Everyone raved about the food and I think I scored major points with my customer.

The food was excellent! My wife and I ordered the Frito di Mare appetizer and I was not expecting it to be that big. She had the beef ravioli with vodka sauce and it was delicious. I usually stay away from anything made with tomato sauce because often is a bit acidic, but this one was great. I had the gnocchi with shrimp and pesto and it was better than when my friend described it. Everything was great and more than enough but I had to try the home made Tiramisu and let me just say it was really good. Like I said the food was excellent but the service was even better! The chef, Mr. John is awesome, and the owners are just great people. I can’t wait to go back with my wife for more.

I came across this restaurant through word of mouth. Decided to check it out myself and I have to say I was NOT disappointed. They have not had their grand opening yet and I can’t even imagine how it will be then! The staff, the owners, the FOOD, it was all amazing! I fell in love with the waitress, Ruth & one of the owners Mayra! They’re such sweethearts and make you feel like family! Highly recommended!

Went here with my boyfriend, staff was friendly when we walked and in and we got seated right away. When I saw the menu though I noticed it wasn’t based on the rustic Italian dishes. The Mozzarella and Aloe sauce appetizer was a great balance of taste. The sandwiches were nice, they felt light yet were filling which was great. The coffee was nice, but a bit too much priced. The Tiramisu was wonderful, and the fried dough was a huge portion enough to feed 3 and tasted great as well.
My only problem with the restaurant really is its missing some of the rustic dishes that would make it an Italian restaurant. Just a simple bruschetta, not a modern version with 3 types of peppers that are not used in the dish. Even a nice Italian wedding soup would help with it. Not only that as I looked around, a lot of lighting and decor comes form Target. Maybe it was because we just came form Target we were able to spot it but, yeah 100% Target decor.
The one that took away the stars though was a “Service Fee”, it was not posted anywhere that it would be tacked onto my final bill, nor was it verbally stated. Hidden fees in a restaurant drives new customers away. I hope in the future they either get rid of it or give a warning later on.

Nonno Di Mora Ristorante was a wonderful experience. One of the best Italian restaurants my family and I have been too. The food is amazing, we had chicken and shrimp alfredo, lasagna and not to forget the tiramisu. Homemade meals were very well prepared and huge portions we even had left overs to take home. Highly recommend, owners and staff were very friendly.
