I’ve been coming here for years. The owner knows me and quickly takes my order as it doesn’t vary much from some of her best combinations. Knowing how to order might help some with their first time. For instance, don’t order something heavy in oils with Chow Mein noodles, then complain of it being a heavy dish. Try it with white rice first. Her Mongolian chicken, ordered spicy with green beans instead of onions is to die for. The white rice goes well with that. If you’re ready for a burger, try a jalapeno cheese burger (I’d ask for no lettuce/mayo) with some garlic fries. Her pot stickers are artfully fried and come with a sauce she’s been refining since I’ve been coming there back in 2015.
This is not a franchise restaurant, the food shows. Moreover the lady running the place has expressed more generosity than I’ve seen from some local businesses owners and makes a sincere connection with her customers. You can’t put a price on an honest connection.
*Pictured below is the Mongolian chicken (spicy /no onions, with green beans), the salad, and her pot stickers. I would try that with white rice.

One of my favorite spots for quality Chinese food. Fell in love with this place from the 1st taste. Definitely worth going back to. It has a cool interior. This place has many great reviews for a reason.

Small restaurant but serves one of the best handmade Chinese noodles in the east bay! My favorite is the hot spicy chow Lei’s Kitchen , chewy and full of favor. Best paired with braised green beans and salted spicy pork chop!

Man! The reviews sound great!
I wish we coulda tried them! But when we went in to get a quick cuppa tea before going back to the HUD office, we told her we wanted a quick tea and then we had to leave, so she sat us and then ignored us!! When we realized she was not coming back to take our order, we had to make a super-fast dash to Starbucks.
Bummer!!!
Maybe next time they’ll get it right!

There was only one person working when we arrived. She was friendly and helpful enough but, strained to keep up with providing adequate service for everyone. Burger and fries were good. Bento box salad was good as was the Mongolian Chicken. They are not afraid to put some heat in the General Chicken. The won ton soup and potstickers were not bad. Chow mein was so so. Fried rice was really bad.

Decent Asian restaurant that also serve burgers. I had shrimp teriyaki and it was good. Too little shrimp but sauce more than makes up for it.

We were greeted by a nice lady at the counter but I guess she was the only one cooking so it went a little slow and I guess you was the only one working but she got to us finally the burger and fries were pretty tasty and we order some Chinese food but it wasn’t so great the fried rice we had was a little stale and the rest of it was just okay say the least and what I make a trip back probably not it’s a very busy area and no parking unless you want to pay and I’m not that close to town oh well better luck next time

Good amount of delicious food for the price. Not the fanciest of Chinese places but it is way better than Panda just down the street.
