Plate lunches served with rice & macaroni salad are the mainstays of this Hawaiian-inspired chain.

Good location, service was fast, food was great. Couple of small nitpicks, booths are a little small for larger families and tables are a little too close together. The seating outside is good but has the sun beating down on almost all of the tables and chairs which is going to make them unusable in the summer months.

I was going to go to a regular spot for me but decided to try something new. I am so glad that I did. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with “Aloha”. The cashier and server were extremely nice. I ordered the beef and chicken mix with a Hula Guava Pie for dessert and a soft drink cup. The chicken was great. The beef was excellent. Both had great fresh flavor. I am sick of French fries and was happy with the steamed vegetables. The rice is spot on and a great addition to the plate. Oh, and the macaroni salad is lightly flavored and has a good texture. The Hula Pie is a little like a Poptart, but much better flavor and thicker. I like it. The atmosphere is inviting. Clean tables inside and out with a nice patio to sit at. (I stayed inside.) Thanks for taking my order, Alicia!

Crispy chicken katsu was good — golden, crunchy, and juicy inside. Solid portion size with classic sides: mac salad was creamy (a bit heavy, but expected), and the rice did its job soaking everything up. Simple, filling, and hits the comfort-food spot.

We had ordered the white fish and fire chicken which we are aware take 10-15 minutes to prepare, however we went in at 6:50pm on a Sunday evening and had to get our meal refunded by 7:20 as we had other plans. The girl with the Hello Kitty pin was extremely kind and apologetic; however the staff that was working with her (a woman and manager I believe names Jorge) were less than obliging and belittling to not only us but the kind girl trying to refund us. Unfortunate turn of events due to being under staffed and sounds like leadership was not up to par.

First off, I wanna start out by saying I feel like when you walk into this specific ono, you aren’t just walking into any ordinary establishment, you are walking into an experience. Everything from the beautiful architecture and the lighting making it Instagram ready, I felt different walking into hear and immediately I was greeted with the openest of arms. The staff all came out and greeted me and my companion. One staff member her name was Jazmine she had great customer service. I will be coming again

Staff needs training. No greeting when I walked in to pickup an online order, but two employees at the counter were too busy working on a receipt machine to even acknowledge me and a couple of other guests. When one of them finally turned around she made no effort to figure out who was first in line.
Apparently if you order take-out you have to get your own sauce. I didn’t know this until I got home with my online order and discovered there was no katsu sauce for my katsu chicken. Hard fail. Unacceptable. If you can’t get take-out orders right, don’t offer them. When I went back to get the missing sauce I was told that even for online orders I have to get my own sauce.
You get one chance at a first impression, and this wasn’t good. Two strikes in one visit.
One star. Ono, train your staff, include the sauces, and do better.

As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted by tonight’s shift, which made a great first impression. My eyesight hasn’t been very good lately, and the cashier, Jazmine, went above and beyond to help me. She patiently pointed out and explained every single item they sold without making me feel rushed or uncomfortable. At my age, I didn’t want to feel like a bother, and everyone working there made me feel truly welcomed and respected. Their kindness and patience meant a lot to me, and I’m very grateful for the excellent service.

Nice looking restaurant and that’s all the positive I can say about my experience here. We waited for our food for 25 minutes. When we got our food it was cooked too long, dry and unseasoned. The person taking our order couldn’t be bothered to actually take our order, it was like we annoyed them just by ordering food. I try to be respectful and courteous when I’m ordering food and I am genuinely bummed out that the staff here seemed so grumpy. Compared to other Ono locations I would say that this one has a long way to go before it’s even halfway decent, I was excited to have one nearby but I will not go back for a second try to this one. Customer service isn’t the easiest atmosphere to work in and I understand this is a new place so there’s a bit of kinks to work out but with the terrible service and terrible food we had, I can’t really give them credit for trying. It was really crappy in both of those regards.

Had delicious food today, staff are friendly, restaurant was clean, and our server Cicely was awesome !! She was super friendly, and went out of her way to help us, and even made a delicious suggestion of dipping our crab ragoons in the katsu sauce !! She 10 out of 10 deserves a raise !!! Thanks for the help !! We attended the grand opening, and have been back a few times and the food is always delicious and a great value !!
