My peers and I stopped by last week for a meal as it was our first time here. Our experience was overall pretty good as we all left satisfied. I will say their parking situation to start is a bit tough; they have a valet, but it was crowded and took a while for our car to get seated, let alone us getting seated. Service was pretty nice, although I felt we should have gotten our menus a bit faster. They sat us down fairly fast, but we were left without menus for a little bit however that is not a huge deal. When I get to a restaurant, I like to sit down and see the menu right away to get started on my plan; that said perhaps they just wanted to give us time to settle in. To start, my peers ordered their avocado salad which they said was delicious and I got the fried calamari. This was one of the better fried calamari I have had in a while; they gave a generous amount of lemon and some nice marinara. Each piece was nice and crispy, just what you want from this kind of dish. I also thought they gave a nice portion; some places skimp on this appetizer however they gave a good amount. For my main course, I had the risotto special which looked interesting. I was offered the choice of a few proteins to add to it, and I chose the shrimp. The risotto came with a lot of delicious mushrooms, and I was liking the truffle flavor throughout the dish. While the portion was not the best, it was quite filling and my hunger was satisfied. As you can see in the picture, there were only 2 pieces of shrimp on my entire dish which I felt was too little. When I order a protein on a rice or pasta dish, I generally expect more than just two pieces. I understand shrimp is not the cheapest ingredient, but I would highly recommend putting more on the dish as it would be more complete. Overall, the important part was taken care of as I was no longer hungry. Going back to the service, our waiter was pretty attentive which was impressive given this was a popular evening. I am not sure if this place offered free soda refills, but perhaps someone can clarify for me. I would say this place is worth at least a try as the food was of good quality and we all left satisfied. If I return, I may try something else as they have some nice looking options.

What a beautiful Italian dining experience at Dimora in Alpine! The atmosphere is elegant yet cozy—perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. ️

I started with the burrata appetizer, which was incredibly fresh and creamy, served with perfectly ripe tomatoes and a light drizzle of balsamic. For my main course, I had the shrimp scampi—perfectly cooked shrimp tossed in a light garlic white wine sauce with just the right touch of lemon and herbs. Flavorful, fresh, and beautifully plated.

The staff was professional and attentive, and the overall service felt five-star from start to finish. Whether you’re local or just passing through Bergen County, this is one of the best Italian restaurants in North Jersey. A must-visit if you’re a lover of authentic Italian cuisine.

From start to finish, this was an outstanding experience. The valets went above and beyond — walking up to cars in the pouring rain with huge umbrellas to make sure guests stayed dry. Inside, the staff was just as impressive: attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming.

Of course, great service only goes so far if the food doesn’t deliver — but here, it absolutely does. Every dish and drink was just as memorable as the hospitality. When a restaurant nails both service and flavor, you know it’s something special. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere is dim and relaxing, making it a lovely spot for dinner. The food was excellent. We ordered the veal saltimbocca and the tortellini with grilled chicken, and both dishes were flavorful and well prepared. The service was attentive and on point throughout the evening. Definitely worth a visit.

Update review:
I came here for a party last year and this week I came back to dine here for dinner. Everything was absolutely amazing! The drinks, the ambiance, the hospitality and of course, the foood.

We started off with some burrata, fried calamari and fried mozzarella. We shared a couple of pastas and for entrees we had Chicken Giambotta, jumbo shrimp, and chicken parm.

And who doesn’t love dessert that’s on fire – literally! We also highly recommend their pistachio gelato.

If you’re in the area you’ll have to check them out!

Love this place. Came here for an event and everything was perfect. The food, the service, the bartenders. Everyone made you feel welcomed and cared for during the event. Everything was wonderful. Thank you and I cannot wait to be back!

This restaurant is great!
Most dishes are very authentic and are absolutely delicious!
They give you complementary bread (which is insanely delicuous), as well as cheese, salami, and olives.
The risotto was not very cheesy and not too authentic, but other than that everything was delicious! They have the best mozzarella cheese I’ve ever had! Highly recommended!

Excellent restaurant! I’ve been here a few times and they never disappoint. The waiter, Tim, was wonderful as well as the manager. The food is phenomenal here as well as the coffee and desert. It beats Little Italy in NYC any way!! The staff is always there to assist for whatever you need and the food is cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant for date night or a special holiday! I happened to visit on Easter. The pictures here are their oysters appetizer, shrimp kebob, red wine, cappuccino and vanilla ice cream. Absolutely delicious! Thank you for great service and amazing food!!!
