We have been loyal Marco’s Pizza customers for years and typically order at least once a week. Since moving to this area, we’ve consistently used this location without issue—until Friday the 20th.
On our way home from work, we called in our usual weekly order and were told it would be ready in 25 minutes. When I arrived to pick it up, the total was $49. I handed the employee a $100 bill, and she refused it, stating they do not accept $50 or $100 bills. This policy was never communicated to us before, and it makes little sense considering that family orders can easily exceed $75.
I explained that I didn’t have another form of payment and therefore would not be able to pick up the order. I also expressed that the policy seemed unreasonable. I then politely said, “Have a wonderful night,” and walked out.
What happened next was completely unacceptable. The employee began yelling and using profanity toward me as I left the restaurant. She caused such a loud and disruptive scene that my wife could clearly see and hear her from our truck outside. No customer should ever be treated that way.
After years of loyalty, this experience was shocking and extremely disappointing. We expect far better professionalism and basic courtesy from staff.

We ordered a large pizza and 20 wings. Normally when we order from here we get 10 BBQ/10mild. Well this time we were told “ we can’t do that, we only can make one flavor..” since when? We’ve ordered it like this for years at this location. Then the credit card reader was “ down “ so the young person claims they had to enter the number manually, and proceeded to have my mom read the number out, ( clearly a security issue ) The customer service was definitely lacking during this visit. We will be taking our business elsewhere. It’s probably time for this location to close.

I ordered a large pizza half chicken fresco and half bbq chicken and cheese bread and a 10 piece boneless sweet chili wings Oct 24 and the pizza was over cooked without chicken or bacon on the BBQ side but a LARGE amount of large size onions. I called the store that night and the person who answered the phone said there was chicken in the pizza and here are pictures I offered to email them of the pizza and I was told there was nothing they could do about it since there was no management there and I would have to call in the morning, which I did and the stores manager said that she was told about my order and that she was told they made it correctly and I offered to return the whole order as we were not able to enjoy it. And the stores manager said no need and she would give me a refund. That was Oct 25 and it’s now Nov 12th and I still have not received a refund. If I could rate no stars I would.

I just wanted to specifically give a shout out to the pizza maker with the long dreads. She is awesome at this Harris location when I first moved to Georgia Marco’s was my favorite piece of Spot in Norcross, but since moving to the Decatur area eight years later, she is by far the best pizza maker on this side and that side of town I want her to know that she is greatly appreciated For her work, I usually just get a piece of for the kids, but When I know it’s her preparing the pizza I make sure I indulge its The way all Marco‘s pizza locations should prepare their pizzaif she’s watching reviews I want you to know you are greatly appreciate it, luv!

I placed an order for a pizza at 12:00 PM with a scheduled pickup time of 6:00 PM. When I inquired at the cashier around the scheduled time, my pizza was not yet ready. I asked if she had seen my order ticket, and it was not in the designated made line. The manager became upset and explained she was busy making many pizzas, but the mobile app orders placed in advance had not yet been prepared. My pizza was finally ready approximately one hour later.

This place REEKS of acrylic as it’s next to a nail salon. There is a shared vent with the salon next door and there has GOT to be acrylic dust in everything they cook. A blind person could EASILY walk into marcos and ask for a mani-pedi! The workers say they’re “used to it”… so basically they’ve been breathing that toxic air for so long they don’t even notice OR care! HEALTH HAZARD & food poisoning is in their future.

The manager Brittany or worker is deplorable! She’s an absolute liability for that company! Tried to tell her that I placed an order through the Marco’s App and somehow location 2071 got the order in Decatur, GA. She told me that I couldn’t explain nothing to her and that I had ordered from there before which is why the order went there! Mind you I was staying in Dunwoody, GA just for the night and I have never been to Decatur, GA! She then tells me that I should have ordered from another Marco’s which is what I told her that I had done! If I can ever get a hold of ownership or corporate, I’m definitely filing a complaint!!!
