The fries are excellent and the house fry sauce is great. We had the blue cheese and the western burgers. Both were fantastic. I love the buns and that the whole burger is easy to eat with loads of flavor. Too many places make monster things you cant even pickup. Pricing is right in line with quantity and quality
We will be back many times, cant wait to try one of the hot dogs!
My teenagers also loved theirs. They cant wait to get another one!
Let me set the table here, I live and die for sandwiches and burgers. I travel for them. I critique them. I always want to find the best version of any sandwich.
This burger is fantastic…and any great burger starts with local, never frozen beef. But the difference between great and fantastic lies in the small details.
A smear of tallow on the insides of the bun before toasting? PRO MOVE
A nice crusty potato bun. Soft inside. Toasted brown on the inner, nice a firm on the outside. A bun has to contrast what it’s holding…this ratio is top tier. All y’all saying it’s dry are missing the importance of texture. Brioche is trash. Homemade potato is king.
Thinly sliced tomatoes. Shredded Lettuce. Never underestimate how key this is. Fat slices of tomatoes derail sandwiches. These are thin enough to bite thru without triggering a sandwich avalanche.
A burger sauce that’s not sweet…at all. Pickles that are sour and salty, and again, are sliced thin.
This is the best bite of food I’ve had on the Oregon Cost since moving here. It’s worth every penny, and anyone who complains about a quality burger and fries for $13 is completely detached from the reality of food costs and restaurant ownership. I wouldn’t bat an eye at $16. In a city it’d be $22.
My only suggestion is to put a paper boat or foil in the bottom of the bag for the fries. Work it into your price, you have room to charge more for what you’re selling.
There’s a couple former high level chefs that now live in MP, and they’re all on board with this place. I’m so stoked this place is here.
$18.99 came to just over 24 dollars with tip sounds pricey but it was Topped w/ bacon, pulled pork, mac n’cheese, onions and lettuce on a toasted potato bun. Served with french fries and I got the homemade fry sauce which was amazing. The portion size was soo great I was having to fork over the other half to my fiance much to her appreciation! The atmosphere was great wonderful streetwise conversations with the locals who say you can’t beat it. Try going to any Burger joint in coos county that beats it. My pictures don’t do it justice so I will not be posting this one.
