This was an amazing experience. I have paid way more for a meal that were of NO quality. The food was delicious the service fantastic. The restaurant was clean and the bar was beyond words and stocked well. We were in Huntington from Charleston to a doctor appt. And decides to drive across the river. Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone. More than 5 stars. Wonderful.

Clean, friendly food was really good. I even bought a whole pecan pie after trying a piece. It was only 9.00 not bad considering it probably took 9.00 worth of just sugar for one. If ur in the mood for something really good and sweet, try their pecan pie it’s the BEST!! I was really surprised being Sunday night and around 8, the bar was fully stocked and everything was fresh and hot. I hadn’t been there in a long time but it was better than I remembered. We got there around 8:00PM, 1 1/2 Hours before closing. Very nice selection of food, but everything I got was cold. Fried shrimp, carrots, corn we told our waitress. She then informed the mgr. who recommended they take temps. I did see the lady take temps but was never informed. So I just ate salad. The waitress we had was very nice and kept apologizing.

Buffet was not bad. Service was quite good. The dessert bar was woefully understocked. $12 for the senior buffet made sense, but $2.25 for a soft drink is just a cash grab. It’s not Golden Corral, but it is nearby for the Burlington area market.

Terrible even for buffet food. Everything was bland and tasted as if EVERYTHING had been boiled. We are from out-of-state and I remember having always enjoyed ponderosa so I jumped at the chance to stop. It was a but more expensive than competition but I was happy to pay it. However, I was very dissatisfied and found NOTHING that I would consider even average quality for buffet style food. Very disappointing.

Food was just not up to par. Place is very dated. Crew members really need to adhere to a nice dress code. Just because you wear the uniform doesn’t mean you are up to code. Buffet was clean but not full. Just not the place it used to be. Too much money for what was available.

Excellent food and customer service. Hadn’t been to a Ponderosa in almost 20 years, very happy I moved where I did. Even at a little over an hour drive, I will make my way out to this location from time to time. The wings and bread pudding couldn’t have been any better.

This visit was a lot better than the last. My waitress was the same and she is awesome. I introduced myself to Mgr., Nancy Napier and explained previous problem there and she was honestly apologetic. Good was fresh, hot, and just tummy. Thx.

The food on the buffet was all very old. You could tell it had been sitting for a long time. My steak was cooked ok, but was sinewy and had a funny smell. Plus, it was pretty expensive for such poor quality food. We chose this over Golden Corral, thinking it would be a nice change of pace, but all 3 in my party were heavily disappointed. We will not be going back
