Sadly an awful evening for my family.
– Completely forgot my mother’s food, and served it (cold!) once my meal had already been fully finished. Her dish was severely overpriced (75 USD) for what was received. ‘Chestnut stuffing’ as described not included on plate at all. Picture attached.
– charged for three Shirley temples when two orders were made and did not arrive for a half an hour.
– Dropped a lobster tail on the floor and left behind, once finally picked up the sauce was left behind.
– Had opted for a three course menu, and as the experience had been so disappointing, we tried to leave early and just go for the two course menu instead of having desert. When we requested this it was confirmed as ok, however when the bill arrived they charged us 90 usd for the full three coursed menu and refused to change this.
– ‘Bacon wrapped sausages’ picture attached. Not wrapped at all and not up to expectations.
– ordered two sides that did not arrive until after meal, and after we asked for them a second time.
Considering the quality and the standards usually upheld at Aurora, this meal was beyond disappointing. How upsetting, especially on Thanksgiving. Heartbreaking, and will not be returning for my brothers birthday as planned prior.

Had a phenomenal experience at D Richard’s! Amazing cocktails, had the mussels to start followed by Chef Sam’s amazing Beef Wellington! Everything was amazing! With a beautiful view of SXM and the Aurora golf course, the experience is definitely worthwhile if you’ve never been before. Dinner is a must at D Richard’s and the staff make sure that the experience is worth your while! I will definitely be back!

What an unexpected treasure in Anguilla!! Such an elegant restaurant overlooking the beautiful grounds on Aurora Resort, mountains on St Marteen in the distance. The moment you walk in you are greeted by the best bartender on the island! He was so friendly and welcoming! We were then greeted by a hostess who took us to our table with drinks in hand. The tables are well spaced and beautifully set. This was our fanciest dinner on the island. We ordered the pork chop and filet mignon. Both were perfectly prepared. I loved the crisp on my medium rare steak, my husband said his pork chop was the best he has ever had. We live in Austin, Texas and love food back home and these rivaled our home favorites! I highly recommend the chocolate soufflé for dessert. I learned they offer a beef Wellington on Thursdays, will try that on our next trip.

The restaurant sits in the middle of a very large golf course so it’s a little hard to find if you have a rent car.
The food and service are excellent. We both got steak and it was perfect.
The chocolate mousse was the way to go for dessert. We got vanilla ice cream and not the coffee with it.

I’ve eaten here a few times which was not consistent. However, last night met my expectations and was a lovely experience. Our server delivered a wonderful dining experience. It was just a nice quiet dinner evening from start to finish. Thanks to the staff for stepping up extra during “the season”.

Cuisine was wonderful.. service was disorganised..staff requires training. We were overcharged for items.. which they said would be fixed. It was not. I visited the restaurant twice today to rectify the situation.. the staff recognized the error and should be fixed.. the manager had to make the change.. food and beverage manager could not make the correction.. tried offering a free lunch…the manager refused to see us. We asked for her to call us and make the correct changes. No one has called.. all we are asking is to credit the final dinner check to the appropriate charges.

The absolute best steakhouse on Anguilla. The restaurant is refined, classy, and beautiful. We dined on the patio overlooking the golf course. We visited for lunch after golfing and we visited for an incredible dinner. The steaks are very high quality, the sauces were delicious, and the sides were incredible. They have a josper charcoal steak broiler and the flavor was awesome. Ive never seen a grill like this before, its located on the patio. The grill master can be seen cooking steaks and I thought that was very cool.
The staff was very friendly and inviting. They took care of our every desire. We loved everything including our desserts which were pure decadence. This is a must visit restaurant on the island of Anguilla. Everyone needs to visit before leaving the island. Its definitely a destination. The views were incredible, the wines were devine, my wife and I had a wonderful experience and will be visiting again on our next visit to Aurora Resort on Anguilla. D Richards may be the only steakhouse of this caliber on the island of Anguilla. The chef visited our table asking how we enjoyed our dinners and even gave us suggestions for dessert. What a great experience.

What an amazing dining experience – overlooking the golf course this restaurant is up scale yet caters to the island experience (open windows, dark wood trims, dim lighting etc).
All of the staff were amazing throughout the night and the food was great (try the table side steak Diane and the truffle Mac and cheese).
They also had a live singer (which I believe is every Wednesday) which elevated our experience.

It was our last night on the island so we were excited to have a memorable dinner before heading home the next day. Needless to say it was such a underwhelming experience. Our reservation was for 7 pm. I believe we arrived a little before, around 6:45 pm. We were seated, got our water and bread service – that was fine. It took 30 min for someone to come over and take our drink order so we ordered our meals then too. It was another 30 minutes before we actually got our drinks. So it took 1 hr for us to get our drinks! The food came almost 2 hours after we sat down. We didn’t have a dedicated waiter/waitress. By that point, I just wanted to leave. The food was OK. The chicken and mashed potatoes were good. Don’t get the mac and cheese! We were so disappointed. As a fine dining establishment, you have to do better.
