I’ve always liked Pizza Hut thin and crispy pizza. The Tavern Style Pizza works well as thin and crispy. Square cut. Easy to eat. Somewhat crispy texture with big toppings. I like their breadsticks too. The marinara sauce cups that come with the bread sticks are getting smaller. That is what it is. I’ve always liked the Pizza Hut on Powhatan Street in Fredericksburg. I get the best pizzas and best service here. These days I’m just getting carry out mostly and not eating inside. Staff is friendly and prompt to assist customers. Restaurant is clean. Atmosphere is quiet. Worth your while to drive a little distance and go to this Pizza Hut.

This location….couldn’t fulfill a simple order. Then when called to discuss the discrepancy, the said they couldn’t find a manger to deal with the discrepancy. They asked me to give my phone number and the manger would call me back. I waited 30 minutes and called back to see if I could get a resolution to my order and they told me that it would take an hour for phone call back from the Manager because the manager was at another store. This is why customer service in the food service industry is failing. Lack of leadership, lack of attention to detail, and zero care for the customer who ordered a specific item that was unfulfilled. I will not order from Pizza Hut again anytime soon and I will never Order from this establishment ever. They have failed to fulfill the minimum requirements of customer service and have failed to care about customer needs. I paid for products that I expected and received lesser products and the run around. This franchise is leadership less and lacks professional customer service.
The Manager called me back exactly one hour after I called to inquire as to why my complaint. During that conversation she stated it was Door Dash that would have to answer even though the receipt clearly showed Door Dash had correctly ordered the items I wanted. I then explained to her that it wasn’t Door Dash’s fault they improperly provided subpar products as shown on the store provided receipt. Tonight this location proved they lack QA/QC processes and it demonstrates a lack of real leadership to provide quality services at the high prices they garner.

So, first I ordered a Big Brooklyn Pepperoni Pizza, which I’ve had before from Pizza Hut. Delivery was quick. But the pizza was cheese and not pepperoni. Also, the pizza was almost cold. I don’t live that far from the store so it couldn’t have been because of distance. You had one job Pizza Hut. Perhaps the “Dasher – Michael”, grabbed the wrong pizza. But probably not. *sigh*
I will admit the flavor was good. Odd but good. They use a really sweet tasting sauce on their pizza that makes it stand out from others.
I didn’t want to believe all of the one and two star reviews I have seen, but if you can’t get a simple pepperoni pizza order correct, you earned those low scores.
Again, you had one job Pizza Hut.

They got a guy working here. He’s the freaking man took us in at 11 PM when McDonald’s shut their doors to some hungry customers. This is the only place to go for late night eats. Haven’t even had the food yet and I know it’s gonna be fire because the man hooked us up. If you trying to eat something five stars it’s the best. I’m not even kidding right now. Just FYI, you can pick it up from the drive-through window without a car fire.

(Powhatan St. F’burg, VA) My husband ordered two pizzas for pickup. The whole area has been under a storm watch all day. This place was packed with people picking up pizzas! When I arrived the man who helped me (I assume he was the manager? He seemed to be in charge) was very nice. He told me they were short staffed and it’d be a bit for the pizzas. I told him I didn’t mind, and I sat down. All the people waiting seemed impatient and annoyed. This man kept apologizing, giving customers updates, asking how everyone was doing, just being very friendly and attentive in a stressful situation. He was hustling, in between talking with us and taking more phone orders, he was wiping down tables,etc. I was very impressed by his professionalism and his polite manner. He kept his cool the entire time. He never got annoyed (or showed it, anyways) and tried hard to make sure we were all satisfied. Our family will definitely be retuning, in huge part due to this young man.

We did a late pick up at the drive thru. There was a couple of minutes waiting, but it was fine. As soon as the gentleman saw there was a dog at the window he made sure there was a treat for the wait, and the service was amazing.
The pizza was perfectly cooked and super delicious. I haven’t had a Pizza Hu stuffed crust in quite a few years!! It was worth the wait. Thank you for the experience.
