This week we ordered garlic parm wings – I wasn’t aware I needed to provide the sauce for my own wings. Pic attached. There was almost no sauce on them, when in the past they usually have a good amount of sauce. We waited for 10 min after expected pickup time for our order to be ready.
During our visit a couple weeks ago, the staff told my husband the order wasn’t ready yet and asked him to pull around front to wait. He waited 20 minutes with no updates and no food, so he went inside to ask. A staff member walked past him saying something about taking the order to the guy waiting, and he asked her if she meant him. She didn’t look at him or speak to him, threw the boxes on the counter, and walked away. He had to inspect the unlabeled boxes himself to see if it was our order or not. He is adamant he didn’t say anything rude or mean, he simply asked if she meant him and if that was our order.
I know retail and food service jobs can be hard, and it’s tough when it’s busy. But I don’t think that justifies being rude to polite, patient customers or not preparing food as ordered.
But, our pizzas were so greasy! My son thought that maybe y’all threw them into a deep fat fryer to cook them! And then I got charged for a convenience fee! What is that all about?? I paid with cash. I could maybe understand if I was using a card. Paid $44.81 just to feel sick to our stomach’s from all the grease! I will be reaching out to a store manager tomorrow!!!
Ordered a pizza at 6:55, which was supposed to be delivered by 8:10pm. At 8:15, a Doordash Delivery car arrived at the store for pickup. It waited until 8:40 and left. Another one arrived at 8:50 and waited. In the meantime I called the store, who never answered, and was sent to the Call Center. A woman answered and essentially said “I can’t help you, call the store”. At around 9:00 I called again, and was sent to the call center again. A man answered, and after explaining my issue, he said “hhmm,, Anything else?” At 9:20 the pizza arrived and the driver wouldn’t leave because he said I needed to give him a “pin” (??) In the meantime, my wife opens the box and the pizza looks like it was thrown across the street.
I paid $53.00 and this is what I get? Terrible.
Just tried to contact Pizza Hut via their online contact site, but each time I submitted the complaint, the site posts a “system failure, try again later” Absolutely disgraceful.
Really great location.
P.S. The drive up window is also a great perk. I love not having to get out of the car when we want to do pickup.
