Came here on Valentine’s Day for the first time and plan to come back often. It’s one of the best quality sushi I’ve had in California.
The wait, despite having a reservation was quite long so they need to figure out the staffing. Which I’m sure they will. However, the nigiri made it all worth it. Super fresh tasting and they do a 7-day salt brine so the fish was all melty and amazing.
It’s a good date spot, definitely sit at the bar and make conversation with Ben, the sushi chef. Very nice and sweet human.
The otoro was fantastic as was the chutoro along with everything else we tried. The uni was out of this world fresh and I don’t even like uni that much. The Chilean sea bass was fireeee. Get it as an appetizer.
The rest of the staff was nice. Prices were very good! Parking is just ok, you will need to find a spot on a side street.

The place is brand new and doesn’t look lunch much but the service is great, the chef is really formerly and entertaining (especially if you sit at the bar) and the food is excellent. As a big plus they are super kid friendly. They even brought out a special dinner set for my toddler. Reservations recommended, particularly as more people learn about this place and becomes a local favorite.

Went in hoping this place would hit and it definitely did! The sushi chef was super informative about their fish, the quality was unreal. We ordered the nigiri plate and some à la carte selections, everything was solid. If you’re looking for a better option for sushi around Venice, check this place out.

The nigiri was beautifully cut with great texture, the fatty tuna was rich without feeling heavy, and the ikura absolutely popped! You can tell a lot of care goes into the sourcing and balance, from the rice to the toppings. Simple, refined, and very promising addition to the neighborhood.

We stopped by Eizen Sushi & Sake Bar for lunch, craving some good sushi—and wow, this place totally delivered!
⭐️ My absolute favorite was the Salmon Sushi — perfectly cut, nicely seasoned, tightly packed with that classic old-school Japanese sushi technique. The little touch of avocado in between gave it a creamy, melt-in-your-mouth texture that made each bite amazing.
⭐️ and the wasabi? 10/10!
The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, zen and cozy, and the staff were all super friendly and attentive. You can really tell they care about the dining experience.
(If I had to nitpick, the salmon cut roll came out with the seaweed a bit soggy, I’ll def try sitting at the bar next time!)
Can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu! ✨

The best nigiri place I have ever had. I can tell Chef Ben pays great attention in food quality and menu selections. My son loves fresh salmon over sushi rice along with avocado and soft diced egg. My wife and I love their nigiri. We will definitely come back again.
