What a great place! A genuine Irish pub with fresh made to order food. Custom made potato chips covered in pastrami with cheese – Irish nachos. Amazing. Corned beef and cabbage – top notch, not fatty not too salty, cabbage firm not mushy – I’m in heaven. Ruben sandwich also fantastic. Up for an adventure? Try Scottish Eggs – like chicken fried chicken wrapped around a hard boiled egg. OMG!!! The bar is well stocked with dozens of beers, top shelf whisky from Johnny Walker Blue Label to Maker’s Mark. Staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The place is clean and upscale, and well kept. Highly recommended.

They’re under new management now and food has vastly been updated and improved so do check em out! They have a modern menu of well-crafted appetizers and entrees, plus an extensive beer selection.
I was really impressed by the quality of the food here, not to mention the portion sizes. My faves were the Irish nachos, chicharrones, and pastrami sandwich! Plus the Jameson cold brew had a kick. The fish and chips are MASSIVE so it’s a good value but we were happier with other menu items. I hear the clam chowder is really good.
If you’re tired of Asian food in the area, or just looking for some solid Irish-American eats, definitely check out Limericks Tavern for pub food done right.

The only reason I didn’t put 5 stars is because of the limited menu on the evening we went. We looked at the menu online and thought of things to order when we arrived. They were only serving a limited item menu. The food that was available was delicious and filling. The service was great. They checked on us throughout the evening. We did pay to enter as they were showing a fight event as well as football. We didn’t mind. We wanted to watch the football game, and the fights were a bonus. You must park in the structure behind it & that’s free for a few hours. We just googled a place to watch the game, and a few places came up. We chose Limerick. Overall, it was a great experience. If we’re in the area again, I’m sure we’d visit.

A great pub in the heart of downtown Alhambra. I have only been in here for lunch, and it was a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. All the staff was friendly, and there was a kind personalized service. Plenty of sports on many TVs, but not intrusive to the Irish pub atmosphere. I highly recommend it. The Shepard’s pie has cheese on top, a little modern style, but very nice flavor. Please see my menus as some of the prices are different and the other pictures are old. The Scotch Eggs are only on the weekends (Friday til they are out); definitely worth a trip. Great people, great vibe, give it a try.

Food and drinks are delicious, everything on point! The atmosphere is okay. It’s definitely a hangout spot for watching sports and men. This is expected as it is a sports bar lol. The servers are kind and attentive. We would go back for any of the items we ordered.

Cool sports bar and restaurant. They had outdoor seating and indoor. Music was really low so it was perfect to be able to talk while getting your drink on, watch the games and eat some good food. They have some dark lagers there, had board games available for the customers to use.

Limericks is great! We happened to visit on karaoke night and really enjoyed ourselves! Whenever I eat at a new (to me) Irish Pub, I almost always get fish & chips to guage the quality. The F&C at Limericks was amazing, and the portion was giant! Great food, great atmosphere, fun times. I recommend you check it out.

Our first time there. We Google searched and found this place. We wanted to go to a place that had the NFL Playoff Game . So we looked it up and what food they had. Looked good and went and checked it out. It had a cover charge because they were showing UFC fights that night, but we were already there so we stay. The place was noise but I didn’t mind. It was like a Bar but it was great with TVS you could watch no matter where you sat at. The food that we ordered was very good. The excitement because of the Fights & Football Game was kool. Our Beautiful
Waitress was awesome . She was a young African American lady. Very nice and always checked up on us. Making sure we were ok. If we lived closer we would come back again but since we live out of town . Not sure. But we enjoyed our time there. Thanks Limericks Tavern for s nice time while we were on a little vacation.

Wow, first time here… surprisingly good. Steak, side and a beer for $20 on Tuesdays! Steak was perfectly cooked, and delicious! Gotta come back for more goodies – like 1/2 off wings, whiskey and wine on wednesdays. Or their fish and chips which is supposed to be pretty spot on… lots to choose from.
