I absolutely loved their siu mai pork and shrimp dumplings—so juicy, flavorful, and perfectly made. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The restaurant also has great Chinese vibes, from the décor to the atmosphere, which makes the whole dining experience feel authentic and cozy. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to again and again. Highly recommend! ✨
Staff are friendly and speak English well. The price is reasonable for the location and food.
It can take a while in a queue if you come during a busy time like lunchtime, but it’s worth it.
Pork and peanut dim sum wasn’t really great, chow mein was average – though the chicken feet were nice. Portion sizes were generous but that didn’t really make up for everything else. Overall, a bit of a disappointing visit – maybe just bad timing on my part
They have a large fish, with some smaller looking fish in a fish tank, in passing there that helps you feel relaxed, I think also, before you do eat and for me, being vegan, I was just in the mood for a plate of their salt n pepper chips really and my partner, Steven, hadn’t long eaten elsewhere, so he was full really.
I was told there was a minimum £10 spend, so ordered 2 x plates of the salt n pepper chips, thinking my partner, Steven may have helped himself to a few also, though he didn’t when the 2 plates did arrive, descent portion sizes, they had a salty taste to them definitely, with some added spices and vegetables too.
The service was great, someone in passing who worked there, if you needed any help and didn’t have to wait too long, to receive what I’d ordered too.
Nice decor throughout, but as regards the atmosphere, if it’s very busy, which is was quite busy, it was quite loud in there, hearing lots of loud noises of people talking.
On another note, I don’t know if they’d private dining, as I didn’t ask, before I left but on that very top floor, I noticed a sectioned off area, with some nicer seating in it, maybe that’s what they’d use for their version of private dining then perhaps.
The most memorable part, however, was how the manager, Simon, and Lina chatted with me at different times. They had probably noticed that I was dining alone and thought I might appreciate a bit of company, however brief.
On the second night, I went for the value three-course meal for about £20— wonton soup (with four large wontons), six crispy chicken wings and drumlets, and beef with black bean sauce served with fried rice. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary tong sui (sweet dessert soup) and ordered steamed custard buns as takeaway. Again, the meal came to about £30.
Both meals made me reminisce about my three years in Hong Kong — I savoured each bite with tears welling up.
I visited on 16 and 17 October 2025.
