The place was busy, we came to enjoy the view and food, at first they didn’t want to seat us because they were understaffed, we told them that we were in no rush and were willing to wait but at a table. The food was amazing stuffed pork chop juicy and flavorful (video attached) u had almond salmon no almonds lol (allergic). I definitely recommend this place, but if you go there be patient & enjoy!

The menu is an Italian/Greek mixture with a decent amount of options.
Service is usually attentive and the prices are average for the area. Parking can be problematic, though as the limited street parking fills up quickly, but there is paid parking in the Mohawk Country Club lot that usually has availability.

super late review but nevertheless, i remember we had a good time during our visit. Seating option was limited though, at that time, since there was a private party. We started off with calamari which was generous in portion and had good taste however some of the calamari was tough and chewy.
pasta was cooked perfectly as well and had good sauce. Even the burger was good. Despite all the “goods” there is little bit of something missing.. not sure what it is exactly and maybe il find out if i ever come back. location is lovely but parking can be a challenge. try your luck here though!

We had a 30th birthday party dinner with about 25 people and it was really great! The food, service, space, location and price were all perfect for us. It was a 5 course meal that everyone honestly enjoyed, and the timing between went smoothly. There was space to mingle and relax, and times to sit and enjoy the meal. Photo ops on the boardwalk with the lake. We had fun. We would book with them again!

Wonderful dinner ! With a w a beautiful view! We enjoyed my bachelorette dinner here with 12 ladies & they were able to accommodate no problem. BYOB. We sat inside enjoyed bread and drinks before the salads, calamari and meatballs came out! Everyone ordered an entree and wow so delicious. Not a complaint at the table. Looking forward to eating here again! Wonderful meal. Great service & lovely restaurant!

My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose il Porto on Lake Mohawk for Sparta, our 127th town.
It was crisp fall evening and after walking around the lovely Lake Mohawk “downtown”, we popped into il Porto for dinner. It’s a cute & rustic restaurant on the inside, with outdoor seating with lake views during the warmer weather. Food was great! Service was okay. We were one of the first to be seated for dinner after 4pm, but the place quickly filled up after us.
It was a special the night we went, so you might not get the opportunity, but if they offer Scallops with Creamed Eggplant, ORDER IT! Yum! The Chicken Milanese and Salmon w/Risoto were on point.
il Porto is BYOB, which is common in Jersey. It’s a great way to save you $$ over places that have to pay for an expensive liquor license.

The food was delicious and the view was beautiful. Unfortunately understaffed on this particular day…yet, the staff is extremely friendly, polite and professional. The fresh mozzarella stack was excellent and so were the fish tacos. Delicious! Will definitely be back. Remember to bring your own wine

One of my favorite go to places, The view from the deck is just breath taking especially for sunsets, the colorful skies are just awestruck! but when paired with the some great food makes it even more special. I had taken quite many people with me, and never had anyone been disappointed. Few of my places where i make sure, I go with a good appetite. I love the Chicken Rollatini and salads there.

Never again. The place has a good view and the waiters are professional and kind, even if all of them are very very young. The big problem is the kitchen. Our fried zucchini had some pieces of squid on a side (I do not have problem but if you are vegetarian, forget about it). The other things were terrible. And $24 for a 3oz Salmon?!? Is such a small portion and you will never see such a high price in Manhattan!! Plus, served in a kind of broth…Take a look on picture. I am sorry but I really don’t want to come back in a place like this, even if the view is really beautiful. I don’t suggest to go, and anyway FYI, is BYOB

Called and was asked to hold, was hung up on after being on hold for 7 minutes trying to make a reservation. Ended up going and they had availability. Food sounds better than it tastes. Service was okay. Views are incredible. BYOB style was interesting to a non local.
