This little hidden gem is so good. The tacos taste fresh as well as the meat used in my caldo de res ( beef soup). Only thing I would change is using fresh veggies instead of frozen. The enchiladas Verdes are really good but if you cant stand the heat get out the kitchen.

I stopped by Las Lupitas otw to Charleston for the day and grabbed a small handful of tacos. Everything was good, the tortillas taste fresh, the salsa was great, the service was fast, and they hit the spot. Definitely not the best tacos I’ve ever had in my entire life but well worth stopping by and supporting a small business if you’re in the area or just passing through.

This time I ordered some enchiladas but it was so spicy that even though I order a side of beans and pour them on top of my food I wasn’t able to eat them and enjoy them. I was only able to eat two out of five , and I eat spicy food but this one was way too spicy When I brought this up to the guy in charge of the cash register he just acted smart ass …. I might go back . If owner sees this hopefully he answers this post.

Overall it was a good experience. The guy at the front counter taking the money needs to learn how to deal with customers. The server was great taking my order quick and bringing drinks and food out to me. The place is a little hidden it says really small place with the little bit of sitting area. The food was delicious no complaints there. I would have given it five stars if it wasn’t for the guy at the front counter

Just had the most delicious Mexican food at this hidden gem of a restaurant! The menu is full of authentic dishes and the drinks are absolutely delicious. The place may be small, but the taste of the food was definitely worth it. However, I must warn you, if you’re not used to eating spicy food, you might want to steer clear of the green enchiladas.

Very authentic Mexican food. Small but cozy dining room with 5? Booths big enough for 4 people each. For me, when I see Mexican people eating there and very little English then that’s the place for me.
I have tried 3 other mexican themed restaurants here in Charleston and those didn’t impress me. Las Lupitas does impress me. The only thing that keeps me from eating here everyday is not wanting to get a Troll status.

Best lunch spot in the area. Cash only, just be prepared and that’s easy. Burritos are HUGE for $10, tacos are $2 a piece. Everything has a fresh taste. They have updated A LOT of the place. Yesterday they have new menus. The girl at the front is always nice to us. This isn’t taco boy or taco bell. Do not expect ground beef hard tacos, try some stuff you have never had! Just point at something!
