A lot of good food can be found in obscure strip malls. This place is a fine example of strip mall deliciousness. I recommend the brisket stuffed baked potato. A full meal deal with really good baked beans and crisp coleslaw…. a solid meal for a reasonable price. High marks for flavor and value. An especially nice touch is the smoked cheddar lining the potato, an extra layer of goodness I appreciate.
Service is fast; everything is already cooked, so it just needs to be plated and served. Another nice touch is the freshly brewed iced tea, both sweet and unsweetened (I take it half and half) which is so much better than the canned stuff!
I only write reviews if a place is really good or absolutely brutal. This is one of the good places. Try the potato, you won’t regret it.

I found myself out in Sherwood Park for some reason. I needed something quick to eat. I almost went to McDonald’s, but then decided to try something new.
Service was super fast (although the restaurant was empty).
Price is crazy reasonable. I got a brisket sandwich, baked potato, and fountain pop, for 20 bucks.
And all the food was real tasty.
I’d go back for sure.

Definitely my new favourite spot for barbecue! The best turkey breast I have ever had and the brisket and pulled pork is excellent too.

I had the brisket and double slaw.
Brisket was delicious! Soft, flavourful and filling. Not too fatty but just enough. Added house bbq sauce for a perfect meal.
My boy chose rib rack wth double mashed garlic potatoes.
We were both satiated and agree that this is definitely a place to come back too.

Dunno what the hype is about or the amount of good google reviews but the brisket is very bland and tough. We both ordered brisket and my sister’s brisket is tough and so dry. My baked potato tastes like boiled potato. I may be unfair to compare the place to a well known bbq place that i would not like to mention, the experience here is below average sorry. Won’t be coming back.

It’s been a really long time where I found quality food at a restaurant. Everything was perfect, owner was friendly and working. We tried a few different things between the 4 of us and all of it was fantastic. Not processed food. Great job, glad we found this little gem!

Great bbq, sometimes pork and beef are a little dry but flavor and bbq sauce are spot on. Try this place. turkey sandwich is always amazing, loaded potatoe is filling, ribs are tasty and tender. Turkey is best

On the hunt for the potatoe that I had in Playa del Carmen and was advised to come try the loaded potatoe here. Got it with pulled pork and half beans, half coleslaw.
I also ordered cornbread on the side.
First it was HUGE!! Potatoe was well cooked and all the parts were very tasty!
Decent pickle and the chips were kind of unnecessary.
I did also order take away of a brisket sandwich and asked that it was deconstructed so I could have it for dinner. I also got two ribs on the side. The meat was good, the ribs were very tasty with a good level of smoke.
It is pricy but good portions. I’d go back for a loaded potato for sit down, but take away I’d avoid the mashed and beans…they just don’t reheat well (not bad persay just better fresh).
Service is great and quick. As for no tap…just have to remember your PIN!!
