The ordering process was super easy via the tablets near the window, and Brian brought out our order personally. Everything was so good we ordered another round! I can’t wait to come back!
Ordered the steak, chicken and pork belly Yakitori. The steak meat had flavor but a little chewy. Chicken was okay. Pork belly was my favorite. All lacked marinade flavor overall.
Ordered the lemon jerk wings. Those were delicious and I really enjoyed it.
It took awhile for the food to come out but would come back again to try more items.
The hours on Google are wrong. They’re open Tuesday -SUN. 12-9pm.
I think they’re owned by the Sushi Yama people, and the hours on Google are for the sushi shop
I had the pork belly, beef, and chicken skin skewers served over rice.
Pork belly was crispy beef was juicy and flavorful and the chicken skin was super crispy and tasty.
The owner is also very accommodating and happy to answer any questions.
Will be back next time!!
This was my first time going, and I was pleasantly surprised. All of the food is made to order, piping hot, flavorful, and well priced. The restaurant itself has a great outdoor eating area, conveniently located off of the Swamp Rabbit Trail. There are handicapped accessible restrooms and access ramps available.
The seasoning, preparation, sauce, and flavor are exceptional. The meat on my skewer was well rested, perfectly cooked, and delicious. I haven’t had squid as good as this in the upstate. The shrimp was also light, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
10/10 will be making this regular stop in my dining rotation.

I recommend the chicken skin yakitori (if that idea spooks you think of like a really good roast chicken with the crispy skin and you can just have a kabob of just the crispy bits of that skin).
It all came hot and fresh and getting the larger combination is a good deal if you have a large group to share with. One yakitori stick is about $4 bucks by itself and given its rarity locally I would say it is a fair deal if you just want to a la carte the whole thing. Otherwise if you are hungry or also want rice I got the 3 skewer and rice combo with the chicken skin, beef short rib, and pork belly. I got full and could did not finish the rice. If you have a lot of people and are comfortable sharing the 10 skewer combo gives a lot of flexibility and sharing options.
