Overall a good experience. I do wish they did not force you to sit at the bar to get the happy hour specials. That was silly to me. The food was not cheap but it felt high quality. The atmosphere is very nice. I liked it and would likely come back

Very fun place. Happy hour every day!! We sat downstairs. Friendly staff. Our bartender Evan was wonderful. Great indoor space. The food was excellent. The drinks were great. Nice atmosphere. Not hat policy, so you can keep it off at the table or hang it up. Definitely be back.

The service was superb. The staffs are friendly and professional. Our waitress was really nice and helpful. She is very accommodating to me and my son. The food was yummy and the presentation was awesome. I did not realize that I forgot my credit card. The Manager/Receptionist went out her way to reach me and made sure that I got it back in my hand. THANK YOU so much for excellent customer service. KUDOS!!!

I’m giving 2 stars because I enjoyed the time with friends. Planned dinner reservations with a group of 6 couples for Jan 24. My wife notified the staff at check-in that an additional couple would be attending and the staff said ok and she would sit them close to our table. They mentioned they’d inform the manager. We asked the waitress several times and she kept mentioning that she would let the manager know. Meanwhile the last 2 individuals joined, still no manager for a while. She finally arrives & when asked. she responded firmly “no.”Didn’t offer any explanation, so our 2 guests left the restaurant. The manager was asked later & she mentioned that she would’ve set our party on the other side of the restaurant had she known we had 14 versus 12 people. Well they knew because we told them when we first arrived, not sure how/when this was communicated to the manager because she didn’t approach our table until well
past the time we arrived. She mentioned the waitress could only handle 12 people. There were a total of 18 people in the entire restaurant, wasn’t busy and I assume because of bad weather. I’ve never been to a restaurant who refused to offer any alternate accommodation, just a blatant no. I wonder why the manager couldn’t pitch in and help the waitress serve 2 guests? I can’t imagine this being their first encounter dealing with a similar situation, just thought the manger could’ve been a little more flexible so their customers could enjoy their experience. So much for hospitality. Not to mention service was super slow and the food was mediocre, no seasoning and small portions.

I love the vibe, service was great but the food was just ok. They need to work on seasoning. I had the seafood jambalaya which was spicy, but not flavorful and the rice was sticky. My mom’s crab cake was good, the green beans wasn’t seasoned well either. The oyster rockefeller was plentiful but again not seasoned well and not enough cheese. Service was great and I love the atmosphere

This this restaurant was very relaxing. It’s definitely a date night places to just chill and nice music and the food was absolutely amazing. Every piece was so great. The waiter was very nice and the bartender downstairs Brandon was really great fun and he made great drinks. I had catfish was delicious and yes, it was a little crispy, but it very delicious. the I’m Alma grits just melting in your mouth, true grits. Oysters were very fresh and salad was delicious.

This place was very very nice inside. From the walk in the hostess was very nice as well. The ambiance was also great too. The server was very attentive and also very knowledgeable of the menu. The corn bread muffins tasted like they were freshly made once we sat down. The food was also great and the presentation was even better. To be off in the cut off of granby Street this place is definitely one that needs to be visited. Great great place very good selection on the menu as well.

This smaller venue was perfect for date night. We made a reservation as it was prime dinner time on a Friday night; however we had no wait. We were immediately seated with our table ready. A larger party of 9 walked in behind us with no reservation and were immediately seated as well!
Our waitress was attentive, water glasses were never empty, and overall, felt that our time was made best. As someone who does not typically eat seafood, I was hesitant to go to a place with seafood in the name; I was proven wrong! Their options were unique and catered to my taste. I chose the chicken with a tangy penne sauce. I felt like I was back in NOLA. The spices were a perfect blend of both creamy with hints of spice (I like hot foods). The chicken was perfected cooked and tender.
My husband has the lobster. He said it was moist and buttery surrounded by a creamy dipping sauce. Even I enjoyed the bite I had!
I will say, this felt more upscale than I originally researched. They do have a dress code with no revealing clothes or overly casual. I wore a dress with pumps, and my partner khakis with a collared shirt. We were glad we changed out of jeans as it was noticeably more formal. A great date night location nonetheless!
This was not planned, but they had a street concert happening outside which left the streets feeling more lively. We love coming to this area as there is always something to do.

Meh. I used to visit this place pre-covid, and it used to be good. I went with my wife and although the restaurant itself is nice, the food really isn’t worth it. They missed the mark on everything. Fish was extremely dry. Rice was so overcooked I thought it was congee. Jambalaya gets you a couple scallops, 3 shrimp and a cut up hotdog. So disappointed. Difficult to justify giving it another try. If you read this and still decide to visit, don’t order the mahi or the Jambalaya, or pray the cooks are different.

It was our first time there. The food was phenomenal. We got the oysters Rockefeller, the scallops entree wrapped in bacon jacket, the salmon oscar entree, and creme brulee for dessert. The atmosphere was nice. We sat downstairs. I sort of wish the tables were slightly farther apart bc I felt like I was on the date of the couple to the left and right of me. It also got pretty loud in there and was hard to hear the person only a foot across from me. Service was good and friendly.
