Get a taste of the incredible fusion that is Israeli street food. After 2,000 years of exile, the Jews of the world came home in an incredible tale. With them, came the cuisines of the many nations where they left or were banished from. While this Israeli food style is dominated by the Middle Eastern and Moroccan culinary persuasions, like the culture in Israel it is fused with goodies from around the world. Like our infamous Schnitzel-on-a-stick (or in a laffa!), or our signature Panini’s lovingly called Kipshutoast’s, each stars in their own right and right at home alongside our delicious Shawarma. Kipshuto (כפשוטו) in Hebrew roughly translate to “simply” which is our true specialty, simply amazing food.

I was craving a shawarma as it’s been years since I had an authentic one in the Middle East. The shawarma was so good I went in an ordered another one to-go!
Service was quick and friendly. The abundant amount of sauces, especially the hummus were all fantastic!

HONEST REVIEW:
This place actually used to be delicious. I’m not sure what happened lately, but every time I’ve been here in the last 6 months, I’ve been more and more disappointed. I’m tired of food establishments getting away with this.
Food:
Schwarma is utterly tasteless. It’s pale in color and unseasoned.
Chicken was served RAW.
Hot dog $3.99 EXCLUDING THE BUN. Want a bun with your hotdog?? Another $3.00
The guy preparing the dishes is a disgrace. Every item came out messy and fallen apart.
The prices are ridiculous and outrageous.
Is it important to mention the open leak from the cracking in the kitchen?!
NOT WORTH IT. THERES BETTER FOOD FOR BETTER PRICES WORH BETTER SERVICE IN THIS TOWN.

We were traveling from Atlantic City to Manhattan and decided to stop for a meal. We were looking for schnitzel with hummus and found this gem. It was an excellent choice to try something new, and the food was incredibly tasty—truly a taste of home. I highly recommend this restaurant. They offer a large selection of meats and a wide variety of salads.

We picked up pre-ordered food, it was ready and waiting and hot. We had the lamb shawarmas with various additions and it was absolutely delicious. The helpings were generous. The price was fair.
One thing that could have been better for our take-out was if they had marked which wrapped package was which. Perhaps let them known when you order. Otherwise it was perfect.
