It pains me to say this because this used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant. In fact, it was pretty much the only one we would go to. I have been going there for years, and the portions were also large and the flavor fantastic. Back then, the owner was there every time I went in. Over the past year or so, the owner is sometimes not there when I have picked up take-out and whenever he isn’t, the food is not great. They don’t put enough sauce on it, the vegetables are mushy or something in the order is wrong. I told the owner one time when I saw him that this was going on and how very disappointing it was. Unfortunately, the last time I went in, he was out and the food was not good. I didn’t even eat but a few bites before throwing it away. There was no sauce and no flavor. I tried adding soy sauce at least, but it was not much help. The broccoli was mushy and the egg rolls barely had anything in them so they tasted like the wrap. The portions are still good, and if I order when the owner is there, the food is still outstanding. However, food is too expensive these days to take changes on inconsistency. I am not sure what can be done because the man deserves time off, but when I order, I’d like to know I’m getting the quality I had come to rely on. Again, I’m sad about this because our family loved the food and value it once provided. Maybe he should post his work days.

Highly recommend the Sesame Chicken. This place was my go-to when I was working in Louisville. Out of the three nights a week I was in town, I ate here at least once. Staff are friendly, food is always fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous. I tried several places around town, but this one far outshines the rest. Don’t miss out! This place is great!

Ordered two pints! Of fried rice over the phone . After i asked the price she hurried me off the phone . When i got there i was surprised at the fact she ran in two quarters instead . The food is meh. Better is out there.
