Ming’s started in Atlanta in 1994 as a simple restaurant roasting whole pigs, ducks, and curating chinese charcuterie. Offering authentic cantonese roast BBQ to customers for nearly two decades, Ming’s has become a beloved staple of asian cuisine in Atlanta and has appeared in multiple publications like the AJC, creative loafing, etc. All roast meats are seasoned, prepared, and finished using traditional siu mei methods and in an open fire oven. Ming’s remains dedicated to create an authentic cantonese cuisine experience.

The salt & pepper calamari was so good & portion was huge. The seafood pan fried noodle was cooked perfectly, portion was huge. The egg fried rice served with the BBQ meats was delicious. Servers were friendly & courteous. We will definitely return to try other items.

This time, we ordered a roast duck rice dish and paid extra to add BBQ pork. What we got was disappointing—the duck included the very end of a leg and part of the neck, making it seem like a full portion when it really wasn’t.
Service wasn’t any better. The server wasn’t helpful when we had questions about the menu and seemed just as unfriendly as on previous visits. After this experience, we’ve decided not to return.

This is my family’s favorite restaurant !! Fast friendly service and authentic Chinese food. My father approves and he is a retired chef. Their roasted pork and duck is so delicious. I enjoyed the sesame chicken, wonton soup, fried chicken, and the house rice. All of the food was freshly cooked and delicous. This is by far the best Chinese food I have ever had (and I have eaten from alot of restaurants with these same dishes). Customer service and atmosphere was perfect . There were other customers, but not too crowded. I will definitely be coming back for more .

I called back up and explained that the food was terrible and the gentleman who answered the phone acted like he didn’t understand. He.tried to tell me that because the food Is hot that the crispy roast pork may have gotten rubbery. I have been eating Crispy Roast Pork since I was a young girl and NEVER has it smelt spoiled and look that rubbery. If you know, you know.

The crispy pork and tofu rice, the meat inside is extremely salty and hard to chew, taste more like some preserved meat, definitely not fresh, and since is covered with sauce it’s hard to tell what meat they put inside. The meat doesn’t have the crispy skin so I am thinking they used other meat instead.
Honey pork bbq, very very disappointed, I got half tasty fresh meat and the other half is old hard to chew meat. And overly salty.
Quail I think is tasty but little bit too salty.

Looking to try different spots of bbq over rice for a quick takeout lunch. Of all the places around here I have tried this one was the most disappointing. Crispy pork was more like fried pork rinds. Bbq pork was mild. Rice was very heavy and dense as opposed to others light soft rice. While the cheapest option around, this has left me to find other bbq over rice options.

They are open for dine in! Food is fresh and very tasty. We had the BBQ pork char Sui today and it tasted perfect! Not too salty and not too sweet. Pork tasted tender and fresh.

Came back here after the pandemic. I was excited to eat here again. The service was good. I was a little disappointed in the food though. The mapo tofu ( which I have been craving for) was so bland and way too much sauce. Salt and pepper tofu was probably cooked too fast so the seasoning was not evenly spread or something, making it super salty with some pieces and some barely had any taste. The Chinese broccoli was so hard like it was barely cooked and kind of bland too. Also ordered my favorite noodles with veggies. Again, very bland. The food actually looked very pleasing to the hungry eyes but didn’t taste as good for me this time. Maybe it was just a one time thing today.. maybe the chef didn’t feel good.. who knows cause this used to be one of my favorite restaurants since it’s close by. I don’t have to go all the way to Buford Hwy to Canton House to get my Chinese food. Hopefully it will taste better the next time I am back. Willing to try again

The food tasted good, but I was seriously concerned that the staff” microwaved “my takeout roast duck rice inside a foam container (Styrofoam).
According to the CDC and FDA, microwaving polystyrene can release styrene, a possible carcinogen. I hope the restaurant can consider using microwave-safe containers or transferring food to proper ones before reheating. It’s a simple step that protects customer health and builds trust in the long run.
