The bread and olive oil was really great. So was the decaf cappuccino that I ordered. I ordered the Saggittario, a very delicious pollotarian dish with Mediterranean flavor. The perfect dinner for our first evening on the beach here in Alabama.
The lasagna was very good, the sauce that the mussels were in… wow SO good. I was really impressed with this spot. We sat outside and enjoyed the live music from the spot next door. Really enjoyed the selection of wines from Italy.
If you don’t eat a full entree, i would definitely recommend sharing. I was seriously only able to take 5 bites of the lasagna before being stuffed. It was so good and makes for great leftovers though! I’d come back here. Also, our server Anna, was exceptional! 5 stars for her!!!
We had the stuffed meatballs for an appetizer, and they were top notch.
Hubby had a Caesar salad – he loved it! He also had the sirloin, which was cooked good.
I had the Vodka sauce pastra with grilled chicken. Excellent flavor.
I bought some jars of sauce to take back to TN, because that’s how good the sauce is.
Live music outside on patio.
Amazing restaurant . Definitely try this place.
Came to Alabama for a few days not knowing anything about the area or where to go to do things or eat at. Our 1st day we just mainly drove around to get a feel for the area and see what was around. We saw this place in a mini plaza type area and decided to give it a try on our 2nd day here. The hostess that sat was greeted us with a warm welcome and smile. She seated us at a nice table up front. Our server Anna wow that young lady is super friendly nice cheerful and helpful. We weren’t sure what we wanted and told her what we were looking for and she hooked us up with exactly what we wanted. The Chef did a great job making the steak med well with just the right amount of pink and not burnt. Most chefs (cooks) cant seem to do that. This chef did and gets from us. There was another server who was cleaning and resetting the other tables and he was just as nice . I did get to meet the bartender Justin who was also super nice and friendly he also had no problem having a conversation and making me feel welcome there. The staff we met this night are absolutely probably some of the best id met going anywhere.⭐️ Once we finished eating I asked Anna if we could see the rest of the restaurant since we were up front and I couldn’t tell how big it was. She had no problem showing us the bar and other seating areas. From the looks outside it doesn’t seem big but once inside it’s very big spacious clean and welcoming. If I lived here this would be a great place to have birthdays anniversaries any type of larger gatherings. Theres even an outdoor patio seating. The menu isn’t huge but as long as you can tell the server what you’d like they seem to have no issue helping and satisfying you. Portions are enough to fill you and maybe even have leftovers. Im very glad we choose to stop and eat here. YOU JUST HAVE TO TRY IT
