At our Petersburg, VA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Went thru the dt crater td location ordered fish and shrimp meal was given fish and chicken went back around to dt again as it was ice on the ground and I had kids in the car explained I got the wrong thing they said drive up they took the fish and chicken back in the window and I waited for a few mins and they brought out 2 fish and 4 shrimps so I was shorted shrimp the meal cost $13,00 and I waited in line twice and not sure if they gave me the same sides but the batter on the shrimp was soggy fresh out the drive thru. I took pics and sent a message to who ever gets their emails let’s see if they try to make it right.

Our server was awesome. It’s been a while since I’ve been here. The cooks put my roll on my fish. My fault for not saying anything about no gluten. When the food came to our table, I advised I couldn’t eat the food. The server graciously took the back and brought out a fresh plate. She was very kind about it. Most places roll their eyes or does a heavy sigh.

I went through drive through, wanted some seafood and something quick, so I stopped here. I was pleasantly surprised, everything was delicious, and for seafood the price was reasonable.l, what I expected to pay for seafood. The food was filling, not want I really, but it was a quick, fish, fries and coleslaw. They have some delicious butterfly shrimp as well, I get those as a quick protein boost, because you csn buy a few alone. I have a picture, but didn’t think to take it until I almost ate everything, lol
