Nice breakfast location. Great customer service. Clean, open atmosphere. The coffee was “diner” coffee.. so so. Water was filtered and good (some restaurants seem to serve bad tasting water to force you to purchase one of their beverages. IMO).
MY husband ordered the Triple Crown Omelet, hash browns, and toast. The eggs (2) were cooked very thinly, and they reminded me of a crepe. It was filled with 3 great meats and cheese. He enjoyed it – I found it tasty, but dry. The hash browns were great! The “sourdough toast”, first of all – SC doesn’t seem to ever stock sourdough.. they serve a thick white bread. Today, the toast was just OK.
I ordered 2 eggs (scrambled with cheese and onions added), 2 slices of bacon (crispy) and a regular waffle. I think the cheese and onions MADE those scrambled eggs delicious. The bacon consistency was amazing! But it was so salty I had to break it up and eat it WITH the eggs. That made it great, though I do wish it wasn’t so salty. The waffle was bland, cold, and truly unpleasant. I gave most to my hubby. He said it was acceptable to him. I wish I had ordered the Belgian Waffle in hindsight.
Overall, not sure this is a repeat visit. But it was nice to be with my sweetheart. 🙂

1/2 stars – Disgusting conditions, overpriced food
Went to this place bright and early expecting a clean, decent breakfast spot. What a mistake. The salt shakers on our table were absolutely revolting – caked with grime and sticky residue that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. But that wasn’t even the worst part.
We watched in horror as bugs scurried across the floor and even spotted one crawling near the kitchen area. I can’t even imagine what the food prep areas look like if the dining room is this filthy. The lack of basic cleanliness is inexcusable for any restaurant, especially one serving food.
To top it off, they’re still gouging customers with ridiculous upcharges. They wanted an extra dollar for eggs, claiming prices are still high, when anyone who shops for groceries knows egg prices have dropped significantly. It’s pure greed disguised as economic necessity.
The food itself was mediocre at best, but honestly, I was too grossed out by the unsanitary conditions to enjoy anything. Save your money and your health – go literally anywhere else for breakfast. This place needs a serious health inspection and a complete overhaul of their cleaning standards.
Will never return and wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

Great atmosphere. The place is ‘bright’ soundwise so when the early crowd got in there was the sound of conversation everywhere. The clientele there just after opening is family and tends to be a little older, so it was good atmosphere. The omelette I had was excellent.

So this particular omelette Café in Bluffton closes early. Two days ago I went to eat at the Bluffton location and their kitchen was shut down and closed. They were mopping the floors. Everything was done at 2:35 PM. I argued with them and said you guys are closed already? It’s only 235. These people weren’t cooking nothing for me, And one of their workers was eating breakfast near the front door. So they can eat but a customer can’t? I was pissed. The lights were off in the kitchen floors were being mopped. Everything was totally shut down. Their service isn’t that great either unless certain servers are there but I don’t see them there a lot.So for that reason I will never go back to the blufton location. The food and service is not as good as the one in Okatee anyway. The Okatee location is top-notch compared to blufton.

Stopped here for a late breakfast on the way to HHI. My wife opted for a pancake and I had the Chorizo Burritos. Very good. For a busy day, the food arrived quickly. The drink service could be improved.

Food is always hot and fresh, seasoned well, and served with a smile. The portions are generous as well. Omelette Cafe is convenient to our home for a late lunch and we love the shrimp and flounder plate. I have had several of the menu items, but that’s my fave. I have included a photo of the chicken sandwich and curly fries. When my food arrived I completely forgot to photograph it! I’ll try to remember next time!

Great place. Food was good but won’t go back just because they charge a SC Hospitality on top of everything else. This is ridiculous!

I don’t know how you have such good ratings! I gave a second try, but boy worst then first. Place looks dirty, potato’s over cooked with No season, Toast cold, egg whites not cooked. Food came out fast and servicer was pleasant, But never came back to see if all was ok. I’m Not in the restaurant business but the quality of food is low. Buy Better Grade
Won’t be back

We visited as a couple. Date breakfast. We were excited to Visit as I love a “ diner” type of establishment. The prices seem fair but I do not remember the breakfast being served as meals. We actually decided to eat the cheese steaks being one of us is from the cheese steak home land 🙂 One was served incorrectly ( ordered non spicy but received spicy) BUT it was still good so not mad about that. The building is clean and fresh looking. No sticky floors thank goodness. Very modern to me. Staff was friendly but did look tired lol. Waitress was young and I am sure she had a great night before hand. Kind of made it feel like home. We will go again some day but we do not eat out a lot.

It was delicious, hot and fresh! Our waitress was very friendly. I got the chicken fingers and Belgian waffles. It was soooo good! Hubby got the egg, sausage, toast and grits and added hashbrowns. I tried the hashbrowns…delicious! We will definitely be back!
