Wonderful experience over the weekend. We had a reservation on a friday night and were sat on time. Our waitress Jen was fantastic. She was attentive and very polite. We had a larger party of 7 and she didn’t miss a beat. My chocolate martini before dinner arrived was delicious. For dinner, I got the Beef Short Ribs and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was fork tender, the demi glaze/gravy had nice full flavor and the mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy. Oh, and the crispy onions on top were the perfect flavor addition. I literally wanted to lick my plate clean lol. I cant wait to come back.

Before I say what I have to say..I wanna stress, I know times are hard…I think we all are mistaken about what tips are …To Insure Prompt Service..that’s what it means..my girlfriend was sick and didn’t want to go out to eat..so we wanted to order. We wanted pasta so we decided to try this place. We were told to order online for take out. Which we did..we placed a 65.00 order .when we went to the “checkout” it proceeded to try and charge us a mandatory 17 dollar tip.. NO WAY AROUND IT AND YA CANT CALL.. I have no problem giving a tip when ya go and pick up food .THIS WASNT EVEN A DELIVERY. The max I do is 5 bucks when I pick food up. These owners expect us to pay a tip I would if we went in to dine…I have never had this happen. This caused our bill to be almost 100 bucks for take out pasta I am going to pick up in -10°F weather . Normally you can leave a custom tip. Needless to say we deleted the order went to Wegmans and cooked our own ..I can’t imagine a business that is profitable engaging in such practices. Glad we rethought our decision…I recommend you do as well. In closing I can’t picture the food being that great , a good restaurant in this area doesnt have to rob their patrons .

This is definitely a hidden gem in Canandaigua, I have no words to describe the food, it is outstanding. The service is fenomenal, great family environment. I’m coming back here, that’s for sure. Thank you to the staff, they were awesome.

We have been coming to casa de pasta for many years, this restaurant has become our family tradition for special occasions like mother’s day, father’s day, birthdays. I really appreciate that the staff is really polite and nice. The food is always tasty. We will keep coming here!!!!

The chicken parm was dry and the pasta portion was small woth a lot of water on the plate. Flavor was a 4 out of ten. Tomato sauce was very bland. Salmon carbonara was odd and didn’t taste well put together. Salmon doesn’t belong with a rich sauce as its already rich enough. Also it was not real carbonara….. the chicken french and short rib was good but the short rib portion was very small. Prices are crazy and the quality was lacking. For A chicken parm, a chicken french, a short rib and a salmon carbonara with 2 of the 4 of us having a soda it was 175 DOLLARS with tip which is crazy. There are a lot better places to eat in Canandaigua where the tables aren’t all almost touching and there aren’t people sitting at a bar with a popcorn machine like its a vfw or something.

First time dining here… Our waiter was very attentive. He helped us celebrate a 65th birthday. The owner/chef made the dining rm rounds and was very congenial.. Dining room was clean and well spaced. Apps, salads, entrées (Blueberry Delmonico and Norwegian Salmon w risotto), and dessert were all fabulous. Pricing was very reasonable. Looking forward to a return visit.

My husband and I went in for dinner last week. He ordered the filet special and I had the eggplant parmesan with risotto. Both meals were amazing. The service was good. The owner even came out to check how everything was. We had a great experience overall.

This was our first time in a while that we visited Casa de Pasta. We were met like we were old friends, chatting with the bartender and Joe, the chef. We arrived early for our reservation and enjoyed a glass (aka bottle) of wine at the bar with great company, and then proceeded to the restaurant. Our server was fantastic, and we had the mozzarella garlic bread along with our entrées. There was a slight misunderstanding with my dish which was rectified immediately, and beyond expectation. Growing up in an Italian household, I can truly appreciate the love and dedication it takes to create the atmosphere that this restaurant most certainly delivers. Picked up a large catering order for a group of us visiting from out of town. The inside was so welcoming and cozy, it made me want to stay. The staff was very helpful taking my order and made sure I had enough for our group. The food was delicious and made for a great family style meal!
