Wow! This is a hidden gem. We will definitely return. The food is terrific and the servers are very accommodating. The staff were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic when describing the special sides. I had all specials, burnt end brisket, squash casserole and fried green tomatoes and corn bread. Husband had the small bbq rib platter with Mac and cheese and Oreo pie. I’m not sure how long this place has been here, but it is a great addition to the Seminole/Bardmoor area. Meals are very reasonably priced.

Just opened five days ago. A super hard working crew, the place was packed and the wait wasn’t long. We got their to-go family meal: 1 lb of pulled pork, Mac n cheese, baked beans, grilled cornbread. We added a rack of ribs. The have a red bbq sauce and a white, we chose red. The ribs were way too salty, we all struggled to eat them. The Mac n cheese was delicious. My son loved the cornbread. The whole meal was $76 with 10% tip, since it was “to go”. They serve Pepsi products. You order at a counter and then sit. I loved their merch. I thought the quality/value was good and similar to Sonny’s.

Stopped in to try the new Moe’s Original BBQ location and was pleasantly surprised in the experience!!! Upon entry, the barbecue scent is amazing!! Restaurant is a self order at the counter and they bring the food out when it’s ready. Food was brought out in good time, they have a fountain beverage station with iced tea as well. Food was excellent!!! Also, they have BBQ sauce to use which also had a zippy flavor that was great!! Definitely recommend and I’m looking forward to dining again!!

Went today for the 1st time when it opened for lunch and I have to say…it was absolutely delicious. I ordered dry rub wings. They were great… Top 3 wings for sure. I also ordered pulled pork sandwich with 2 baked beans as my side and they were also delicious. I also tried the boudin balls. They were ok. Not bad. Just a bit mushy inside. Possibly from eating them last and they were sitting inside the styrofoam box. Other than that everything was great. The plstaff were super friendly and very helpful. The place we very clean. I’ll definitely be going back.

I have been waiting forever for this place to open. I’m very hard to please when it comes to BBQ. This place met all my expectations. Staff was friendly. The food was amazing. Great job. I will definitely be back. The only thing I would add would be I wish they had the pulled pork bake potatoes. Amazing job to all.

Went to Moes tonight to try as our family was searching for something new and different to eat, Food was alright. Banana Pudding is pretty good, Collar Greens were outstanding. The sauce they give you with the order is not good, we prefer a sweet sauce and this is more similar to hot sauce. The ribs were decent but without the sauce hitting it wasn’t to die for. I got sweet tea and it wasn’t as sweet as I like it to be either also was warm so must of been fresh. Last thing I feel is jalapeño cornbread isn’t my fave because again I look for sweet cornbread especially when it comes with the kids meals, most kids don’t like spicy so the cornbread and sauce were edible for them. (age 3/5) 🙁 (Owners should replace cornbread with a dsssert for the kids imo)

My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try since we have never been to this restaurant. When we pulled up and got out of the car, you can smell the food they were cooking and it was enticing. So we went in and looked at the menu and made our choices. I had chosen the 8 piece wings with their buffalo sauce, and I got their 2 sides of Mac and cheese and potatoe salad. The food was delicious and tasted of being home made. The wings were cooked well and were juicy and the buffalo sauce was not like every other places buffalo sauce. It wasn’t really spicy and the flavor was tasty. I would recommend giving this BBQ place a try if you are looking for a new place to try some good BBQ.

First time here. Ordered the large rib dinner to go. The ribs were some of the best I’ve ever eaten. So tender and juicy, just fell off the bone. The BBQ sauce was very good. I got 2 sides with the meal. I opted for their baked beans which were delicious, kinda sweet with onions, and the red beans and rice. The red beans and rice was a little too watery for my taste, almost as if they weren’t quite done cooking yet. The cornbread was very good. Only 4 stars because of the red beans and rice and also took a little too long to get my food. In their defense they were a little busy. Overall great customer service and great food. If you haven’t tried them, do yourself a favor. Moes will definitely be my new BBQ place of choice.

Reminds me of the rest of the chain up in Alabama. Great bbq for a decent price, actual southern sweet tea, and an easygoing atmosphere. It is a welcome addition to the greater St. Pete area where good bbq is lacking.
