Absolutely love this place! One of my favorite restaurants in San Angelo. The service is great and the food is always mouth watering. The sushi is fresh and delectable. The side salad with ginger dressing is sensational. The soup is outstanding. The masa fried rice is usually my go to entree and it NEVER disappoints.

I went for lunch on the weekend and it was a nice and peaceful environment. The portions are generous! I had the Ninja Roll which was 10 thick slices. The deep fried breading was very crunchy, I suggest taking two bites with each slice. I also had the Sakura Roll, which had a pleasing presentation. Again, a great portion of 8 thick slices with many flavors inside giving a tasteful experience. I would have been filled with just one of these rolls. Highly recommended.

We had dinner at Masa. We walked in & were seated quickly. The menu is extensive with tons of sushi options but also hibachi type kitchen options. We opted for a seasonal Christmas Tree Roll as well as a Poke Bowl. Both were absolutely delicious. My daughter had Miso Soup & a Spicy California Roll (which we could not find on the menu – but it was easily accomodated). Our server always made sure our drinks were full. We will definitely be back!!

Great food and service, sold fresh. It’s fun to walk in and see their white board with hand drawn pictures and their special sushi for the holidays! I ordered the Halloween roll and the sushi Christmas roll, both were so creative and delicious.

I do not eat out much because I cannot afford it but it was worth eating here.
The music was a little loud for me but enjoying some of the best sushi and hot green tea that I have had in the last couple of years made up for it. It was on par with my favorite sushi restaurants in San Antonio and Galveston.

Great Japanese food. Large quantities. The chicken hibachi is nice. The sake is awesome. Try the mango one. Its smooth. Presentation is beautiful as well. The sushi is good.
Lots of seating options, Friendly service. Wish they wouldve cleared the table after we ate & paid the bill but we sat with a dirty table.
The mushroom soup was amazing. Prob the most amazing thing i had there.

This place deserves noting less than a 5 star. I travel alot and this is one of the best sushi places ive had in a long time.
I started with the San Angelo roll and it was HUGE! It was also well put together with fresh flavors. Next I had there chicken hibatchi which was delicious, it came with 2 little shrimp which made me wish I had got the shrimp because it was perfectly cooked. The salad that came with it had amazing dressing, the fried rice was to die for and the sauces complimented everything. I will definitely be back when I travel here again. Amazing service as well, tenative yet patient while I decided what I wanted.

The food came out at separate times which wasn’t that pleasing. My daughter’s food who is 4, came out last but mine and my other daughter’s came out about 5 min apart. It was very beautiful don’t get me wrong, but the flavor, something was totally off on the sushi… Me and my 12 year old ended up getting sick the next day. Super super sick.

They are fairly knowledgeable about gluten allergies and offer a gluten-free soy sauce.
A lot of the menu is not gluten free, but some of the rolls can leave sauces off (I’m a huge fan of the Blue mountain roll with gluten-free adjustments).
Great sake selection, but the wines leave something to be desired.
Probably my favorite sushi place in town.
They do fill up pretty quickly on the weekends, so if you have a time limit (like you are going to see a movie), you might consider a reservation if they’re available.

I normally love eating here. We decided to pick up. We placed an order on Masa website. Tell me how it says pickup 7:02pm great make a couple other stops and we get there at 7:02. 15 door dash order in front. 7:47pm order is finally ready. She proceeds to tell us. Door dash and Uber Eats are priority. Excuse me?? Priority over the ordering app on your website? Yeah you just lost a customer. 45 mins after original pick up time and then tell us we were absolutely last priority. She didn’t even know how we ordered. Disappointed
