We ordered two large pizzas for pick up. We pull in and my gosh I instantly felt like we should’ve have ordered food here. The building is run down! Open the doors and see the ceiling was leaking… pretty badly. I wish I took a picture of that! Anyways we get home and see that we have holes in our pizza? I don’t even know they thought that would be acceptable. Our other pizza dough was undercooked. After we all ate our stomachs wouldn’t stop making loud sounds. We do not recommend this place at all!

I grew up going to Pizza Hut, and back then it felt like pure magic. Between the “Book-It” program, the excitement of earning a free personal pan pizza, and the joy of sitting in those cozy booths, it was such a special part of my childhood.
Fast forward to now – my son just turned 10 and chose Pizza Hut for his birthday dinner. Walking in, I’ll admit my inner child felt a little sad seeing the place quieter and more run down compared to when I was a kid. The parking lot was empty, and only one other couple was dining. It could have been a letdown.
But then came the person who sat us. Their energy completely changed the night. They were kind, welcoming, and genuinely engaged – not just with me, but with my son too. When they found out it was his birthday, he asked about his age, chatted with him, and then surprised us by bringing out a brownie cake on the house. That simple gesture brought back all the warmth and nostalgia I remembered from my own childhood visits.
Sharing this place with my son meant so much to me. Any other night, I might have walked away feeling like the magic was gone – but thanks to this wonderful employee, the candle stayed lit. I left feeling just as I did as a kid: full, happy, and connected to something special.
Pizza Hut, you’ve still got it – because of people like him.

Would’ve been all 5 stars had they updated their menu. We went in with limited money knowing what we wanted. What we chose was told it is no longer available. Asked for something else. Again not available. We finally settled on a pizza and breadsticks. Server was great, food was great. But they really need to pay attention to their menu.

I love breadsticks. I go to dover because they are friendly. I did not get my Breadsticks today. I ordered my free one and never got it. My friend got theirs with their meal. No one answers the phone. Just a ridiculous message. I’m pissed off!!! The guy up front was pleasant I’m dropping the food cause, is not here. Booooo

just want to give a big shout-out to Brian, the new store manager at the Pizza Hut in Dover. He made our experience absolutely wonderful! You can tell he really cares about great service—he was attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. It’s rare these days to meet someone who takes that kind of pride in their work. Brian truly deserves credit for the way he runs the store. And as always, we love Pizza Hut—delicious food and now even better service!
