I’ve been eating at Grill Point for many years and today was one for the books! I really just came on here to say that we live Liz! She always makes us feel like family. So loving and attentive. It’s like she knows what she wants before we even ask. Thank you for a great meal!

Grill Point is a very good option for kosher food, with a solid location and generally fresh, tasty food. Most of the time, the quality is consistent and enjoyable.
That said, there are two important things worth mentioning. First, there is no seating in the winter time. In reality, this makes it more of a takeaway spot, and for someone who prefers to sit down and eat comfortably, that’s a downside.
Second, the laffa shawarma tends to be extremely oily. It’s noticeably more than expected, and it takes away from the overall experience. I’m not sure why it’s prepared that way, but it’s something that really should be addressed and fixed.
Overall, good food and good potential, but these two points matter and could significantly improve the experience if handled better.

It was a totally fluke we ended up here. We had just finished 6 hours at the Met and on our way to a random food joint that we saw on Google maps and that looked easy. My 9 year old was really struggling and we came to this corner and decided to take a peak. Food looked good so thought we give it a try and hope our daughter would stop complaining. Turned out to be one of those awesome random travel experiences. The staff kind of sucks in the fact they could see we didn’t really know what we were doing and didn’t offer any help, but one we figured out we were in an Israel/ kosher place we started catching on. The food was all great. My wife and I shared the lamb and turkey bowl and we were stuffed. I wish my picture did it justice as there was so much meat on top you couldn’t see the boat load of salad underneath. The kids meal was huge and the questionable choice of my daughter to get a beef patty was a surprise hit. Couldn’t believe how flavourful it was. They also had a cool assortment of drinks from Israel.

I have never had such a delicious shawarma before… Grill Point on Lexington has an amazing Mediterranean Israeli food. I truly felt like being teleported to “Shook Hatikvvah”

The food here is amazing. Every Pita is loaded, generous portions, great ingredients, fresh, delicious. Couldn’t have enough of it.

Totally and whole heartedly recommend

Fair pricing for good portions. The team here offers thoughtful service. I tried the food here and loved it, plus the atmosphere feels homey. The freshness contributed to the excellent flavor. Grill Point accomplishes what others attempt.

I used to dine in their Queens location, so having them now in the upper west side is a blessing ; I’m going to be one of their regulars.
Grill Point has The best (kosher) lamb Turkey shawarma outside of Israel.
Self (very fast) service with well heated outdoor dinning. I got the shawarma bowl and they were very generous with the side salads. Loved everything about it. They have a Shabbat & catering menu which I’m definitely planning to try.
