Trackside Diner is a classic small-town spot that gets it right. The food is good, portions are generous, and the prices are fair. Breakfast is especially strong — eggs, pancakes, home fries, and coffee all come out hot and fresh. Lunch and dinner plates are solid, too, with plenty of homestyle comfort options.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and you always feel like they appreciate your business. It’s not fancy, and it doesn’t need to be. It’s clean, it’s relaxed, and it’s exactly what a diner should feel like.

I stopped here for lunch, I had a breakfast sandwich and some hashbrowns. The food tasted great. My waitress was very happy and provided exceptional service. I wasn’t sure what to expect because this is only one of two options that I found for food in this town and the other option had no cars out in front and this place was full of cars, glad I stopped here. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but everything was great The service was quick, friendly, and professional. We had the fish fry, and it was really good. House battered fish had a great flavor. Their house made tarter sauce was really good. Definitely recommend.

For the price and quality of food, this is a gem in Sidney. We had the Friday Haddock buffet, and highly recommend it. I got fried, wife got grilled, both were superb. The seafood soup/clam chowder? Was outstanding! Being a USAF vet the 10% discount was greatly appreciated!

The five star is for atmosphere, because this is a diner, a quintessential American experience. And the atmosphere of a diner is part and parcel of the experience. Thus the atmosphere matches with what I consider a typical American diner.
I get breakfasts here from time to time.
The trackside breakfast is the best deal for me, it’s big, affordable and fuels the tank.
The waitresses are perfect in what they do. It’s def hard work, waiting tables. And they handle their responsibility in a kind professional and motherly way.
I’ve never been disappointed with the breakfasts, their egg sandwiches and their hamburgers.
As a rule of thumb once I find something great in the menu I don’t try anything else.
But I’m sure whatever it is you order it will be another great American experience.
PS to the management, the bathroom might want to be on your radar for a remodel. It’s def a weak link in your operation. . You can look me up finish line contractors of NY on Google maps.
