This is a huge competitive space in the coffee market place and this space provides a place that’s quiet but friendly and welcoming. Great spot to work as well.
My favorite is the salted chocolate cookie and their hot chocolates. It is my goal to try everything they have to offer!!! I’m especially excited they are coming to our local Bayport Bluepoint Library!!!
My regular coffee was burnt and/or extremely bitter. I had to throw half of it out.
Rainbow cookie was very subpar.
I waited ten more minutes for them to put my order out. They never did. Then I had to get in the regular line and wait another ten to fifteen minutes. By the time I finally reached the counter, I had been in the shop for around thirty minutes. My food had been sitting there the whole time getting cold.
I will never do pickup here again. I stood in a crowded, dark, loud space for half an hour only to be handed a cold grilled cheese that cost sixteen dollars. Easily the worst experience I have had at a coffee shop.
When I finally got to the front, I asked the guy if I was really supposed to stand in a long line for a simple pickup order. He shrugged and said I could try cutting in front next time and tell them I was picking up. I actually tried that. There was no room to cut in and no one to talk to.
The setup here is the real problem. They need a clear system so pickup orders are separate from regular walk ins. This is Long Island. This is basic. Until they figure it out, I am not coming back.
For the past year, COHO Coffee House in Patchogue has generously hosted the NotSoFastRunnersClub for our weekly Saturday runs — and they’ve been nothing short of incredible. Their support, encouragement, and consistent promotion of our group have helped us grow into an amazing community.
Rob, the owner, is truly one of a kind. He’s warm, welcoming, and always goes out of his way to make sure our runners are comfortable and have everything we need to fuel up before and after our miles. His hospitality sets the tone for the entire shop. He’s also someone who values collaboration with local businesses and genuinely cares about the community he serves — and it shows.
COHO is also super kid- and pet-friendly, which makes it the perfect spot for families who want an easy, inviting place to hang out. Between the delicious coffee, amazing pastries, and the endless treats for little ones (and furry friends!), there’s something for everyone.
They serve more than just great coffee — they offer a warm, community-focused atmosphere that’s unmatched. COHO is easily the best coffee shop on Long Island, and we encourage everyone to stop by and check them out.
Tell Rob the NotSoFastRunnersClub sent you! ☕️ ♂️
The staff is friendly, genuine, and always remembers the small things that keep you coming back. Whether I’m stopping in for a quiet morning moment or grabbing something on the go, CoHo is consistently a bright spot in my day. Absolutely love this place!
