This was the first time I’ve ever ordered from here and I can honestly say the last time. I ordered pick up. I placed an order of 5 tacos. The woman who originally answered the phone was not kind or displayed good customer service. She then passed me over to someone else without communicating to the younger waitress of the order she was writing down. Then the mistake was made where they gave me more tacos than I had ordered and were charging me for those said tacos. The lead waitress did not take accountability for the miscommunication or for failing to mention she was passing me over to some one else. I repeated my order. The young waitress apologized for the mishap and did everything that needed to be done to correct the issue. The older waitress who I assume is someone who is able to charge had an attitude did not speak to me when she handed my money back closed the window without saying thank you. I had to request my receipt from the younger lady. It was an all around ugly experience for service. I gave the 1 star just because of the young waitress. Now the food, was not good. The chicharron in salsa was just chicharron and the chorizo and egg was sooooo greasy. I also ordered the potato and egg where the potatoe was still raw.
Customer Service is a must in these type of establishments. I’m not really one to make a huge issue about food as long as it can be corrected without the attitude. I dislike rude, and servers who don’t take accountability and try blaming someone else.
Will not come back. Experiences very. I don’t doubt that it’s a great place to eat, however; first impressions always leave you either coming back or not.

Service was friendly. Chicken enchiladas plate was really good. The beef tacos were im guessing ground beef tacos, those were oily, bland, and came with lettuce and diced tomato, basically tasted like it came straight from Taco Bell . Heads up** the Deluxe Mexican plate comes with cheese enchiladas, we were told by the server that they were beef and then disappointed to dig in and there was no meat. Pretty solid everything else wise.

My brother ordered 4 hamburgers for lunch. He placed the order over the phone. The restaurant called back to confirm the order and to pay for the order. The order came out to $68 and change!! Of course he canceled the order! How ridiculous is that. We like this place, have been there before, and the food is good but those prices for burgers are outrageous!

This restaurant advertises “the best botana in the RGV.” It is the WORST. The worst restaurant fajitas I’ve ever tasted; I couldn’t eat them.
I don’t know how you can mess up migas, but they were runny and had no flavor. The Spanish rice was meh.
And the service mediocre. Do not waste your money here.
Go to Eddie’s across the street. They are much better.

Coming here for nearly 25 years, I learned to memorize the daily specials. Uniquely curated daily, one of today’s daily special was the fideo. You see, the fideo here is made just like how my mom used to make it back in the 70s and 80s. I take mine in a bowl with pinto beans and this is exactly how I always order it up on Wednesdays here at Rositas. The specials used to include the ice tea but not anymore, thus keep that in mind.

I really like the restaurant; the food is well-prepared. The location is spacious enough, with no parking problems. The person who served us was a very kind and conscientious lady, very sociable, and excellent at her job, her name is Ana, but we also noticed very professional service from the staff, including the cooks and waiters. Thank you very much, and we highly recommend it.

Mexican food, good menu. I had beef tacos in corn tortillas. Came with beans and rice. Wife had liver and onions. Pleasant atmosphere with lots of room and soft music.

The food here was average, I ordered the huevos rancheros and for 6.99 you get 2 eggs, refried beans, potatoes and bacon.
The eggs were almost cooked perfectly over medium, the salsa for eggs was very plain tasting, the bacon was very crispy they over cooked the bacon for my taste, the potatoes were good cooked fresh to order, crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, the refried beans were just okay.
The place could use some more decorations, music etc.
The waitress was not very attentive to our table.
Overall an okay place for breakfast, nothing special stands out for this place.
