I stopped here with a coworker for lunch. I had a meat lovers omelet and my co-worker chose biscuits and gravy. The food was very good and the wait staff was amazing. She was pleasant and conversational, explaining that some of the recipes were traditional from her family. The cookie for dessert was very tasty, and was also handmade right on site.
I would highly recommend this place for a “tastes like home cooking” meal.

Our friends told us about this little, out-of-the-way place on our drive from Seaside to Portland Airport. This is the second time we visited, and I am always so pleased at the quality of the food friendliness of the staff and great prices. This trip, my husband had a GIANT biscuit stuffed with taco meat and cheese. He loved it , so tender and flavorful. I had a roast beef and cheese sandwich that was very fresh and you get to top it yourself with whatever condiments you like. Their pastries and cookies are super fresh and absolutely delicious. Hubby got a giant brownie with white chocolate chips and enjoyed it on the airplane. Everyone was very jealous. This place doesn’t look like much from the freeway, but I totally recommend you save time to stop here.

We’ve been stopping in here for years as the food has always been great and wonderful service. This time however was the complete opposite the waitress Claire was not attentive at all we had chicken fried steak breakfast and it was burnt we pointed it out she had them remake it and I think it may have been worse than the first no discount was offered she brought out check and then charged us more than the amount shown when asked why she said she printed the receipt too soon and it didn’t reflect the drink we ordered mind you we had to ask twice for as well as mo water was offered or refills on the soda she never checked in on anything we won’t be back highly disappointed in the new food quality and staff horrible!

We were heading to the coast and looking for a breakfast stop. I’d never been but my husband ate back in the early 80s. It wasn’t too busy when we showed up but before we left it had gotten more customer. Our waitress was welcoming, quick and efficient. We ordered drinks and meals right away. I ordered my go to – Eggs Benedict, my husband ordered Biscuits & Gravy, and my teenage daughter ordered a “pancake” – which was smart because it’s humongous! I loved that egg Benedict had a thick slice of ham & crispy English muffin…The side of bacon was scrumptious. Hands down though was my husband’s biscuits & gravy. The gravy had the best flavor I’ve ever had & biscuit was crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. I would highly recommend stopping here if traveling down Hwy 26 – westbound. We enjoyed it more than Camp 18 – which we have frequented a lot. Give it a shot

You gotta stop here- local culture so fun. Reminds me of TRUE OG OREGON- flavor! Love this place- the people are great, BLOODY MARY’s are on POINT. I laughed so much and had great conversations! And it’s my first time here, I’ve always wanted to stop, and hadn’t been able to. After my first experience, I regret never stopping before. I felt so welcomed, service on point our bartender was so gracious and caring, drinks were delicious and FRESH , LIKE for real my drinks were so GOOD the food was great!! The booths in the bar are so COMFY! This is a wonderful joint. I bet it’s fun to stay the night here too: I will be back! Smiles for miles.

Great family restaurant and a full bar. Good sized portions. Warm comfortable atmosphere. Hash browns are never frozen and very good. Hotel with several rooms out back. This place is cute with county hospitality.

The clam chowder was okay although the oyster crackers tasted like they had been manufactured in the 80s. The fish and chips were horrible. They had a very gritty taste to the batter which made it crunchy in an unpleasant way. Kind of like the crunchy seeds in a raspberry jam. Another person sitting not too far from us expressed his displeasure with the fish and chips quite loudely to the waitress. Unfortunately he was right even if expressed rudely. My wife picked the batter off of hers so as to waste as little as possible.
We we’re not given any silverware with our food other than spoons for our chowder and we had to ask for water and napkins. Our waitress, though sweet and friendly, pretty much ignored us which meant my glass of wine sat empty most of the time.
The table was clean but the antiquated hair metal playing in the bar clashed with the light jazz playing in the restaurant.
I hate to rip on a small establishment like this but it really was awful, unreasonably expensive food and horrible service. Even Camp 18 has better food than this, which is pretty bad. We won’t be back.

Keep driving because this place is just falling apart. Our first cue that this might be bad was seeing Gordon Ramsey on the television visiting horrible restraunts. The food was mid to bad at best, and there’s zero detail when asking to see the check. 2 coffees and 2 small breakfasts ran $51.29. Won’t recommend and won’t return.
