Service was great, the ladies there were friendly and very attentive. The food was good, my carnitas were a bit overcooked(too crispy and a bit dry) but they were tasty. The food that the rest of my table got looked great and no one was complaining about it. Will definitely come back when I’m in that area again.

2024 update – just as good as our last visit! Great food and wonderful staff!
My wife and I had dinner here earlier this evening. The young ladies running the front were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was excellent! Portions were so large that neither of us could finish our meals (we’ve got lunch tomorrow)! Cost for the meal: $33. In effect, we’re getting four meals…that’s value! Definitely coming back soon!

Came here to eat right after me and my husband eloped at the court house. Great local mexican food. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is nice. The margaritas are great, I LOVE the Tierra y mar and fried ice cream . Other favorites are the chipotle burrito, chimichangas, quesadilla texana, and the fajitas. Salsa is great and the white sauce is absolutely bomb. Prices are very reasonable and portions are bigger than I can ever eat at once. My only complaints is that the music can sometimes be really loud so it’s hard to hear each other and every time I’ve ordered anything with shrimp I’ve only gotten like 4 shrimps.

Wife and I are native to Houston, TX and love LOVE LoVe our Mexican food. It isn’t so much the food , which I will get into in a sec, that was the highlight of our experience but rather the WELCOME TO BOWLING GREEN, VIRGINIA marinaded within.
Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by the sound of Bluegrass music emanating from a >>> LIVE BAND <<< performing in the rear of the establishment. It was delightfully unexpected, considering the region commonly associated with the food. At any rate, we were kindly greeted and informed there would be a 25-30 min wait to be seated. We agreed. Our name and phone # was taken and we stepped back outside to meander about while we waited to be seated.
There is plenty to see within 50 meters in any direction outside but eventually we were sat down. Typical greeting from server with drink and meal order relay.
After an acceptable time out meal arrived. UH OHH The fajitas for (2) I ordered was for , “Beef and Shrimp only, and No Chicken.” The waitress repeated the order back to me and I approved. This exchange was all in Spanish, I’m a native speaker, and I now feel it was lost in translation due to the live music sound and typical atmospheric loudness of a busy restaurant. I’m not saying it was too loud but only that it may have played a part. Anyway, the server arrived to the table placing down a platter of Shrimp and Chicken with NO Beef. I felt bad but our entire reason for the visit was to cure the beef cravings that was nagging my wife’s taste buds. The staff IMMEDIATELY rectified the order with great care and speed and the rest of the meal was very good. It was delicious and I highly recommend it. I only gave it 4 out of 5 because I haven’t experienced it enough yet to leave a confident 5. I do plan to visit several times more. lol … You know, to like investigate the consistency of great service and delicious . Yeahhh…
