Real, authentic, and moist Tamales! Something we don’t have enough of in the PNW. I’ve tried the Chicken, Beef, Pork & Jalepeno Cheeze to date! All were excellent and I was surprised how much I enjoyed the Jalepeno Cheese! I’ll be eating this more often in the future. If you like a good Tamale, this is the go-to place in Spokane. Yumm!

Great tamales! BUT, you pay a steep price. Best bet is order 6 at a time, eat your 1 or 2 there, and take the rest home. A nice salad and 2 tamales does me great for lunch or dinner. They freeze nicely. Hot tip, we let them defrost a bit, spritz the with olive oil, and put them in the air fryer for 5-10 min. Nice crispy crust and still moist on the inside.

Super clean, conveniently located off the main road, and the food is delicious. I was greeted with a warm smile and asked if I had any questions about the menu. The Tamales are larger than other restaurants and have plenty of meat. I met the Owner and his family before they opened – they’re from the same area in CA that we lived. Quality people and quality food!

The whole team here is so kind. Joseph went out of his way to introduce himself to us while we were in, great energy and you can tell he really cares about your experience, but it’s easy to bond quickly over tamales this good. We also met Lisa who is the sweetest soul ever, she made sure to alert us about the upcoming chorizo tamales- we are so excited to try them!! Tamale box has the most amazing tamales! I think everyone should give them a try! I have had the chicken rojo tamale and the jalapeño cheese tamale and they are both excellent! Their combo with rice and beans makes an absolute amazing meal! I am usually on my lunch hour and so I get the food to go but they have fast, efficient customer service! They are the perfect place to get a fresh meal!!!

My husband has been wanting to try this for some time now, but we live in Spirit Lake so its a little out of our way. We did finally go on Saturday and it was 100% worth the trip. The service was excellent, and the tamales were mouth watering delicious ! We tried the chicken, shredded beef and cheese/jalapeno. The cheese/jalapeno was hands down my favorite!!! We ordered half a dozen and split the chicken and cheese, so I ate 2 half’s (1 whole) and was stuffed! These are not only so good, they’re pretty big and filling! Also their salsa and Verde was fantastic ! This will be one of our go to places!!!

I was STARVING at lunch time today, which was my fault for not eating breakfast lol but I wanted something really filling, delicious and quick—in comes Tamale Box! We’ve ordered from them before, but I hadn’t grabbed lunch yet during the week. This was PHENOMENAL! I was running low on time, which they didn’t know, but I still got fresh food, great conversation, and got back to work with time to spare. I was recommended the beans and rice combo with my tamales, and it was a great idea—very fluffy rice and the beans were perfectly made! The tamales are always delicious, their guac and pico is fantastic and I honestly could just eat it with a spoon lol I can’t say enough, this place is great!!
