The consistency is what really stands out. Everything we ordered was just as good as the first time. Perfectly seasoned and served piping hot. The quality of the ingredients is obvious in every bite. Strongly recommend if you like spicy food.

However, the hygiene was not ideal. Out of six people in our group, four had diarrhea afterward. I had the worst reaction — since yesterday I’ve had continuous diarrhea, and if it doesn’t stop I may need to go to the hospital.
The service also needs improvement. There were only four or five tables occupied when we arrived, but we were not given any utensils until I asked the server, “Are we supposed to eat with our hands?” Only then did they bring them. Because of this, I only left a 10% tip.
The price was quite high, yet the portions were small.
I hope the restaurant can seriously improve. This is my honest experience, and I hope my feedback is helpful.

Overall, this restaurant is amazing. In Los Angeles, where Hunan cuisine is so competitive, it’s incredible that I still want to come back. It’s the pinnacle of Hunan cuisine!!
The biggest downside is the incredibly long wait times—it’s always so popular! I arrived at 5:20 pm today and waited in line for 45 minutes before being seated They don’t call to get a number; you have to wait outside. If you want to eat here, plan your time accordingly.
